Disappointed with online order experience and in-store staff responses. I tried to order ahead online, the portal apparently had... problems at checkout. I pressed PAID buttons twice after making the selection, but did not proceed to the next screen. Momentslater, I received a text alert from Apple Wallet that I have been charged. I took a screen shot of the checkout screen where Iwas stuck. At the store, the staff couldn?t find my order and didn?t ?believe? my descriptions of the experience, despite myshowing the the screen shot picture and Apple wallet evidences. To add to that, I saw from Apple Wallet that I was charged forthe same amount for the 2nd time. The staff showed no sympathy, and asked me to pay for the 3rd time to register thetransaction. Though I understand the process that the staff is following, do you think that the online portal experience and thestaff?s mechanical response left me with any appetite to pay for a Playa Bowl for the 3rd time? I appreciate the owner andcompany?s diligent follow-up. The 2 pending charges that showed up on my Apple wallet were not posted, so no refund wasnecessary. Read more

Great job at this location most times I go there. The only thing that I think can be improved is a few times I have gone when... they were busy and the playa bowls were smaller than usual and for the price of Playa Bowls they should be packed to the top.Other than that, the customer service has always been great Read more

I love Playa Bowl but I must say, I am highly disappointed with the one in Summit. I meet up with a friend once a month and he... is in a wheelchair, those heavy automatic ones. He can never go inside because it?s not wheelchair accessible. We?ve gottenlucky so far with the weather and eaten outside but today our luck ran out. It rained today and we can?t enter inside forshelter. This place should make it where everyone can go inside. Is it that difficult to purchase a portable ramp? No PlayaBowl today. Very disappointed.
