Great local diner, just as you would expect on the main street strip. Massive portions and friendly wait staff. Has a little bit... of a "hole in the wall" feel, which feels sincere and is a positive in my book. Prices are a little high, which is why fourstars. Good stuff! Read more

Relaxing and quick, the Hometown Cafe pleases the hungry appetite. I had the turkey pannini - although it was good, it wasn't as... good as the chicken wrap that a member of our family tried. There's a wide selection of lemonade and iced teas to accompany yourmeal and the Ranger Cookie has great flavor and can be shared by two people. Read more

Very average place, nothing to really brag about. The food is okay at best. Was charged for strawberry topping that I never got... and had to bring it to their attention. The place is rather small even with an up stairs so be prepared to rub elbows with thetable behind you and next to you. Parking is also an issue because it's sumner. Read more

Cozy little cafe in downtown Sumner. Staff was very friendly and very attentive. We ordered our breakfast and it came out within... about 8 to 10 minutes. I ordered the Farmers Hash. It was very good lots of potatoes and eggs. There really wasn?t as muchbacon, sausage and ham as I was expecting, but it was still a great breakfast. I recommend this cafe! Read more

I always cook Thanksgiving dinner from scratch for my family, but this year I?m pregnant and feeling all-day-sickness, vomiting,... etc. So I decided to order food and this place had good reviews. I?m actually sad to write this review, but I have to be honest:nobody liked the food. Presentation was bad, stuffing was not good at all (looked like dog food), canned green beans instead offresh. We had high hopes, but I guess we?re way too spoiled by my homemade food. I make fresh green beans from scratch, theyhave vibrant colors and crunchy texture. My classic stuffing is to dye for, full of flavor. I?m so disappointed, it kinda ruinedour Thanksgiving dinner. Oh well, by Christmas I?ll be feeling better and will be able to cook for my family all the deliciousfood they love! Read more

The food was yummy, and the service was great. The waitress and waiter seemed to work as a team. The only throwback that i had... was they didn?t remove the empty plates off our table. I wish they did so that i could have more room on the table. Other thenthat it was a relaxing place the staff were friendly. There?s a saying i have, the difference between great and excellent is alittle bit more? Read more

What a great local eatery! Met a friend for brunch and while it was busy it was not crowded and things moved quickly. We took a... bit of time at our table but there was always a table or two open so I didn't feel like we overspent our time there. It was neatto watch the pleasant interaction of the staff with the guests, all had a smile and a kind word. Oh, and the food was greattoo! I decided on the biscuits and gravy breakfast with scrambled eggs and ham slice. It was a sufficient portion for thepricing, even a bit more than needed but certainly nice to be able to leave a little behind than to still feel hungryafterwards. Would definitely go back. We are trying to find hidden local gems for places to eat and not just the big chains, to support COVID impacted staffing. Found... an interesting one! Cute place, nice staff, good food. Get there early, closes at 2pm weekdays, 3pm weekends (Fri-Sun) Smallermenu right now, but a number of good choices. Sidewalk seating if you want it. Wife said pancakes were really good. Hobo hashfull was a lot of goodness! Read more
