Food was really good. Waitress was very friendly. Had taco salad. Almost too big to eat but I managed to eat most of it. Just... like Benny's in Wisconsin who make a good taco salad also. Read more
They serve breakfast all day, and you can substitute a pancake for the toast. Good eggs, bacon and hash browns. Staff was... friendly. Even though the restaurant is part of the bowling alley complex, it was relatively quiet in the restaurant and wewere able to easily talk. This was my first time here, and I will be back. Read more

They supposed to close at 8:00 p.m but they locked the door beforehand and nobody seems to care. So you should care to eat... somewhere else that cares about its customers. Read more

I went to George?s Cafe, the Lakeview location for an early dinner with my parents. My mother wanted to go because this was... Liver & Onions special day?. My mother and I each got the Liver and onion special with my step dad getting a pancake sandwich.We had a very good server, his name was Trenton, he took our order and brought food and drinks to us and was polite and got ourorder correct. The food came and it was strange that my mother?s liver was so rare there was blood in the plate, so my motherasked Trenton to please have it cooked longer, he was apologetic and took it back. But when it came back it was horriblyover-cooked but hard to see that cuz the onions were piled on top as they should be. My mother ate as much as she could and thenat end of the meal she asked to speak to the cook. Apparently the cook had left while we were eating because it was shiftchange. So we will see if the manager calls my mother tomorrow but I will say that the server Trenton handled the entiresituation perfectly, he did not make any excuses and was polite thru the entire exchange so I really want to commend him forthat and all of our other food was cooked fine and tasted great so the only blemish is my moms food was under-cooked followed bycooked into oblivion!! We eat at George?s Cafe all the time and I don?t think this will stop us but I do hope the manager callsmy mother. Read more
We have not been in a while, and have never had a problem, but today I ordered a fish dinner to go. Well when we went to eat it,... it was like chewing on a rubber bag! Could not even tear the fish apart with our hands! Therefore we could not even eat it,picked this up around 3:30 pm, figured get it early for freshness, but seams like it was refried, as if it was day old!!!Therefore, this will be the last time we get the Friday cod fish from there????????????
