My husband and I frequent here and we have never had an issue. The manager has always greeted us and our items are made fresh... and in a timely manner. I do understand that business owners have a higher expectation of how o handle themselves than the we doas customers but to be honest some customers could use a refresher on how to be courteous to staff as well. Staff is rude and the manager/owner operator seems to always have a chip on her shoulder. I?d rather drive further and spend my... money at a different location. Not welcoming at all. After reviewing the other one star comments and seeing how the owner isreplying back to people is appalling. Corporate needs to give her proper customer service training. Poor experience with the manager?.Came in today on my break I had an reward for a free smoothie through the app. The app... wouldn?t allow me redeem my reward at the time, so I ordered my food and attempted to redeem my smoothie in the store. I wastold by the manager that I would need to purchase another meal in order to redeem the smoothie. They said that the app must havemalfunctioned due to more people using it and that it?s a issue for corporate. I showed her my rewards on my phone, seemed likeit would be a simple, common sense resolution, ?help the customer, get the smoothie?, but I guess not. Afterward I sat and atemy food with no smoothie, and watched the manager interact with employees and another woman who had an ordering issue from theapp, wasn?t good. Horrible experience. Manager ?Tamika? was extremely rude. My friend had ordered the smoothie ?Paradise Point.? They incorrectly... served her a ?Peanut Paradise? and claimed she ordered it wrong. It would be strange for her to order it wrong when she ordersit every single time. Tamika told her that she needed to turn on her communication skills and listen when they read back herorder. The thing is, they did read back the order and they read it as Paradise Point. It took a lot of back and forth arguingbetween my friend and Tamika for them to simply remake the drink correctly. We went again a few days later (today) because wedo like the smoothies and wanted to give them another try. As soon as we walked in Tamika and the other workers were giving meand my friend dirty looks. Tamika then said to me ?Which one of you is Lily?? I told her it was me and she was telling theemployees I was the one who left a bad review. She told me that since I was not the one who got my order messed up last time Ishouldn?t have left the review. I ignored her. She then continued to make jokes to the employees how my friend and I were backalready, after we had just left a bad review. The employees proceeded to keep staring at me and my friend while we were justquietly waiting for our mobile order to be made. My wife and I stopped at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe here is Sun City Center yesterday and purchased 4 smoothies, a wrap and the... extra cost premium side for the wrap, maple sweet potatoes. The smoothies were just Ok, nothing special and certainly notenough to justify their cost. The wrap was good. When I opened the sealed container, that had obviously been microwaved,containing a tiny portion of sweet potatoes they looked less than appetizing. I took one bite and immediately thought they hadmistakenly served me DOG FOOD! Terrible! I went back to the counter and asked to exchange them for another menu item. Thegirl didn?t know what to do and went in back to ask the manager. She returned with the manager?s response: they couldn?texchange them or offer a refund because I had opened the product. Nice customer policy, like it or lump it. This was our firstvisit and will definitely be our last. You can get much better food at a far more reasonable cost anywhere! Read more

Moved to the Apollo Beach area a few weeks ago and have been looking for a smoothie spot. This is the first we have come upon.... The interior is clean and simple, plenty of spots to sit down. I am grateful they have a kids sized smoothie; was really theperfect size for a little one. Girls enjoyed it however my one thought is they are limited on flavors for kids smoothies. Not alot of choices there. I got the Mango Magic; I substitute the non-fat yogurt with coconut and it was AMAZING!!! Such a goodsmoothie!! Update: We found a new lunch time favorite! The Ultimate Club sandwich is bursting with flavor and super filling for a midday or... evening meal. The chipotle chicken club flatbread was also delicious and as expected? flavorful. So far, we have not found asingle food item that was not spectacular! Tropical smoothie is our new favorite ?fast food? destination! So excited TropicalSmoothie came to town! This location has had great service the two times we visited. Even on a Thursday evening when they wereswamped with take out orders, the food was served hot, fresh and in a timely manner. The staff is courteous and attentive. Wewill definitely be back often and I highly recommend this location. We have tried 4 menu options so far and they have all beenfantastic! I tried the Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap with Maple sweet potatoes. It was delicious! My only complaint was the HEAVYonion. Next time I will have them leave those off. My husband ordered the Baja Chicken wrap with jalapeño corn. If you likespicy this is perfect. Not unpleasantly hot but your definitely feel the heat. This morning we tried the Peanut Butter BananaCrunch Flatbread. It strikes me as a comfort food. Sweet and filling. If you like pancakes in the morning then this flatbreadhits the spot. My new favorite though is the Southwest Wrap. DELIGHTFUL! This wrap had wonderful flavor and was SO SAVORY! Afantastic brunch item to set you up for a productive afternoon.
