Went for brunch today. Waited approx 30 min to be seated-well worth the wait. Never let the wait deter you. Yes they were busy,... but they were on point with service and food! Ordered from the all day breakfast menu my husband and I both got the Grandma'ssampler Platter=2 eggs, 2 french toast or pancakes, 1 each of bacon, sausage and ham and 1 side. I swapped out ham for thesausage patty. When our food arrived, the hasbrown casserole was still in the oven, so our server let us choose 2 biscuits and aside of gravy (Not pictured). She immediately went to get our 2nd choice and the hashbrown casserole was ready, so we gotboth. Needless to say, we are full!!! In total we spent just under $30 not including the tip. Read more
Who doesn't love Cracker Barrel!? Great food and atmosphere, friendly and attentive service. Good prices. My favorite is the... Sunday homestyle chicken meal (which is available every day) with hash brown casserole and Mac and cheese. Even in today'sworld with bad service and high prices Cracker Barrel always delivers. Today was an outstanding Cracker Barrel experience! We hit it at the right time, only 10 minutes of shopping before we were... seated and the meals were all spectacular! Fried chicken and tenderloins were crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Thecornbread and biscuits all you want them to be. Green beans were gone before I could get picture. I always have a good time at the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. I love the fireplace in the winter season and the gift shop... is always full of interesting seasonal knack knacks. I have always been pleased with the service and the food is great. Myfavorite is the Southern Fried Chicken very crisp and juicy. There are also over sized parking spaces in the back for RVs andvehicles towing trailers. Read more
Overall the food was very good on this occasion, I ordered the chicken fried turkey with green beans and bacon mac and cheese. ... The turkey was great and bacon mac and cheese was amazing. The green beans were as good as green beans can be ????. Service wasdecent, but I got an overwhelming impression that this location was very understaffed. Because of this it took an extremelylong time to get food etc. I think we were sat around 12:30pm and got our food around 1:40pm. The server was very friendly andhandled all of her tables very well, but hopefully they can get more help because this was honestly the biggest issue I think.We will definitely be back again, but probably at a slower time. I'm not a regular at the Cracker Barrel and it's been years since I've been there. But it was really good. I had the Friday... fish special. It was cod that was lightly battered then dusted with corn meal dredge. It was seasoned well and was cookedperfectly. It was tender, flaky, crunchy and moist. I would get it every time. I tried the hash brown tots and they werereally good. They had a crispy exterior and tender and cheesey interior. I also liked the corn bread muffins and the greenbeans. When I walk into a Cracker Barrel I enjoy the gift shop, service was prompt and courteous, orders were taking quickly and I... enjoy the atmosphere as I wait for my food to arrive. My daughter enjoys playing the golf tee peg game that's on the table. Thefood arrived hot and delicious I enjoy the steak cooked perfectly, and the cheesy potatoes.
