Took over an hour to get our food. They weren't that busy. The fry grease looks paleolithic - those aren't sweet potato fries.... The potato chips were stale, and the fried pickles had barely any breading while being very greasy. Food was ok at best.Sometimes small town diners are fabulous. Then there are places like this. If they want to seat you in the back room - I suggest you just pick a different restaurant or come back later... The food is... good but the service was really bad. I think if you get seated in the back room they forget about you and it takes forever toget service or attention. We started off with pretzeI hoses which were ok. I had their version of the French dip which wasreally good. Wifey had their fish and chips which was really good. Their Mac and cheese is really good. It took literally anhour and a half to eat there... I think I would have been better if we were seated in the main dining area but oh well. Read more
Awesome. Pierogies, sauerkraut & kielbasa... almost as good as I make it at home. I've found a new place for comfort food.
Good wings and humongous burgers. Nice atmosphere, decent pricing, yummy food, and kids enjoyed the kid meals.
Pretty awesome selection of wings. Crispy. The little pretzel bites were good. The Icelandic cod was crispy and flakey. The... lobster Mac and cheese was okay, didn't feel like real lobster, more like imitation crab. The lemonade was really bad. Read more
My first time back in Sudbury, OH in a few years. I returned to Firehouse Tavern, still the same great place! Staff was friendly... and the food is still great. I had the Bacon & Bleu Burger medium rare, it was cooked perfectly! I don?t travel to this areafrequently, but I will always return to the Firehouse when I do. Read more
The atmosphere was very nice and good dining experience. Ordered the fish and chips, however it didn't seem to be battered on... the fly / in house so was a little disappointing. The French dip style sandwich (not sure on menu name) was good overall, wasnot a huge fan of the bread choice but it was decent. I will definitely give the menu another shot and order something differentnext time. Read more
Passing through Sunbury and decided to stop and try it out. Very cozy inside with Fire Fighter and military memorabilia decor. ... Great draft beer menu and looked like the bar was well stocked for cocktails as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Menu looked great with wide variety to choose from. We just had the Nachos and added the chilli and a few draft beers to watchthe football game. Nachos were very good. Will definitely be back when passing through Sunbury. Read more
