I eat at Bear Claw cabin at the top of Sundance Ski Resort for the views & location. Service is great. Prices are reasonable... for a cabin on top of gorgeous mountains. Today I had a $10 Frito bowl & a $4 hot coco. Everything on the menu is eitherMexican food or chili or both. Off menu & on the counter is a bakery basket of huge cookies and brownies. Amazing views, good nachos! Bathroom options limited.
Just a snack at the top. The Nachos are HUGE and the wine is very meager. Views of Utah Lake Valley and Deer Creek Reservoir,... pretty hazy with smoke when we were there. Slow ride up and down on the chair lift, very beautiful and pleasant. Don?t gowithout lowering the front safety bar if you have a fear of heights! Very fun place to take family from out of town. The workers here are incredible and will help make your visit one to remember. I... would recommend this place to anyone! There are hikes on the way up that are fun and challenging but not necessary to reach thecabin. Pro tip, if you come with your family of 4, you'll get a discount on the ski lift tickets! Read more
Can you beat these views. Gorgeous. Food is 3 star, but still very good ski food! I had to sit out a couple runs to finish up... some business -- can I buy an office here! Highly recommend Sundance and Bearclaw Cabin. Read more
This was our favorite day in SLC. The ride up the ski lift is in the direct sun, so bring sunscreen (I made the mistake of not).... The ride up probably takes 20 min. Once you?re at the top the views are to DIE FOR. My wife and I enjoyed some beer and chipsand guacamole. It was SOOOO good. We hung up out there for hours. We can?t wait to come back the next time we fly visit. Read more
