I?ve been to Blue Heron twice now and both times have been spectacular. The food is top-notch, although your favorite dish may... not always be on there depending on what is in season. That being said, I appreciate the use of fresh, local ingredients intheir dishes - in fact, they have a list of the local farms they buy from on the menu itself. Everything at Blue Heron feelsintentional, from the outstanding service, the cocktail menu, to the excellent food. All if it fits together to create anexcellent dining experience. This is certainly not a budget oriented restaurant, but I truly believe you get what you pay forhere. For celebrations and special occasions, I will be back! Read more

The Blue Heron has a warm and elegant atmosphere, delicious food, and an extremely welcoming staff. My godmother and I... thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Our server, Kristin, was knowledgeable and kind. She explained each dish and offeredsuggestions with care and enthusiasm. The food was expertly crafted, inventive, and beautifully presented. Some highlights were: the lamb shank with whipped goat cheese potatoes, the mushroom cake with tomato confit, and the Blue Heron cocktail. Thank youfor such a special evening! Read more

We had an absolutely delicious dinner! The server, Laurieanne, was fantastic!! We asked suggestions and she was attentive,... engaging, and professional throughout the meal. We ordered the pea soup, garden salads, and shared the rib eye steak. All wasabsolutely delicious!! The steak was incredible, and served with a hardy helping of mashed potatoes and green beans. For dessertwe ordered the sorbet, and also the corn shortbread with fruit and whipped cream. Both were so flavorful and out of this world! The perfect evening. We particularly enjoyed that the dining room was intimate, quiet and ample spacing from other diners. Thewine was also just right. We will definitely return! Highly recommended!!! Read more

The blue heron is one of the best places to eat in this area. Everything is well paired, and all dishes are coocked and served... to taste well. I recommend getting a reservation first, as it is sometimes busy. Read more

I was so excited to go to this place, but, well it was far far from my expectations. Generally, the place itself was really nice... and pretty, staff were really friendly. But we didn't like the food. We got calamari, garlic bread, chicken breast, and salmon.Everything was super oily, which was not pleasant. The chicken was not cooked well, and garlic bread had a weird bitter taste. We also got the caramel walnut torte and tea which was the best part, however we were not happy with that too, because it wastoo sweet! The price was really high for the portion of food and more importantly, for that quality. Read more

Very elegant dining experience with food to match. Our first time dining here and overall it was a very enjoyable experience.... The fried Brussel sprouts appetizer was simply great, would never have thought to add peanuts and mint, but it was absolutelygreat. Read more
