This restaurant has great food and very friendly and patient staff. As you first walk in, they have an interesting display of... what looks to be an ancient armor set in a glass case. To the left is where they seat you for sushi and regular menu items, tothe right is the hibachi area and straight ahead is the bathrooms and a small but nice bar area Read more

I came here with my dining companion and got hibachi with 2 drinks each and ginger ice cream for dessert. I haven?t been here in... 2 decades+ but the quality of food and service are still top notch. The waitress was pleasant and made sure we got our drinksbefore last call. The hibachi chef was skilled and wonderful at reaching out to the diners. I could not asked for a better meal. For the hibachi meal, we were given soup, salad, noodles, mushrooms and I ordered the filet mignon while my dining companionordered chicken. We were able to share thanks to the chef being very accommodating. The white sauce and ginger sauce were alsoA+ delicious. I?ll definitely be back! Thanks Goten of Japan! Please excuse the lack of pictures other than the soup because bythe time I remembered to take pictures, I already finished eating because the food was so good! Read more

There was a 30min wait when we went here around 5:30 which was fine cause we just had a drink at the bar. We ordered sushi for a... appetizer which took longer than expected to come out but was absolutely delicious. It took a long time for our table to get acook but once we got one it was fine. Did the shrimp, scallops and steak which came with noodles and vegetables along with somewhite rice. Food was all delicious and service was good. Would come here again. Read more

We were in the Deerfield area with the kids at Treehouse Brewing and Yankee Candle and wanted dinner. We didn't do hibachi so... the seating was a bit underwhelming for the sushi area but the food was quality, service was great and price was veryreasonable. Read more

Don?t ask for fried rice or teriyaki sauce on Friday or Saturday they only serve that sun-Thursday. Oh and don?t expect your kid... to get chocolate milk the bartender will working on it for 30+ minutes while the entire table got mixed drinks and the other twotables in the room got their mixed drinks even though the arrived after us. Don?t worry though if you want spider with your mealthey will come down and land right on your table (ok I?m just really frustrated but this did happen) also the air vents didn?twork so steam didn?t vent up but out into us. And if it couldn?t get any worse and maybe I?m wrong usually hibachi food is madewith teriyaki sauce but instead they cooked the chicken with lemon & butter. I had high hope but this was horrible. I do notrecommend. Read more

We did sushi, not teppanyaki. It?s not bad, for the middle of the state, but the portions were quite small. The table was... sticky, and we had to ask for empty plates to be cleared when new dishes were brought. Read more

Different experience than Osaka or Benihana, but not necessarily a bad thing. Food portions were decent for most, but don't get... any lobster. Those portions are tiny for the price. One of the major differences I saw was you got noodles instead of friedrice. Fried rice is one of the staples when I go for hibachi and to not have that was odd. Service here is hit or miss as well.We got to the restaurant before 5, we were one of the first 3 parties and I don't think e left until after 7? Simple requestslike a drink took 5 minutes to fill at times. It was 30 minutes before we even placed any sort of food order, and the cookingwent by person, not by food type. The service was definitely lacking, but it seemed like it was an issue with our server. I'drecommend checking the place out, the food was hot and flavorful, the price was in line with other hibachi restaurants, and itshutter seemed popular for the area. I would probably call ahead for a reservation, if they accept them, but I wouldn't waitmore than 15 minutes to be seated. Come with the expectation that service can be fairly slow and you'll be all set. Read more
