Excellent food and service. Our waiter Paulie was the best! The place is super clean, nicely lit and conducive to enjoyment of... family in this case a birthday party. Sorry to take a star off but just found out our waiter Paulie charged $9 for that pieceof birthday cake you see in the photo. Before doing a little shopping I stopped into Matchbox for happy hour. The experience wasn't as pleasant as expected. I expected... to get faster services by sitting at the bar and the result was no service. The experience made a turn in the right directionafter expressing my concern about the lack of service to the manager. We were taken to another section and the service wassuperb. The food was well prepared and the drinks were refreshing, unfortunately I discovered a fruit fly in my drink. All inall, I will give it another try. Read more
Very nice restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. I strongly recommend a reservation because they can get busy very fast,... which is usually a good sign. I went for brunch but didn’t actually get brunch. Of course they have mimosas on the brunchmenu. They have really good appetizers so I got the artichoke dip and the mini burger sliders. No regrets there as they werefull of flavor. Also got there Margarita Pizza, which was perfect. It was not too oily and the cheese was flavorful. Not toobitter nor tart. I didn’t know what to expect coming to eat at this Huge Establishment. Upstairs down stairs. Huge outdoor seating! That tells... me the Kitchen is huge too. Sometimes passion and drive can get lost in a huge restaurant serving many people. NOT Match box!Those Pancakes ????are TOP TEN in south Florida. It’s the holiday season! And our company decided to treat us for a Christmas dinner here at Matchbox. We made reservations... over the phone for a party of 16 and they were extremely accommodating and made sure we were taken care of immediately. Uponarrival the staff was very friendly and they had prepared our table in a private area out back. Upon sitting down the team had agreat time chatting back and forth as 2 waiters seamlessly took our orders in between and brought out every dishexceptionally. I ended up ordering the sliders with onion strings to share and it was absolutely delicious. The mini burgerwere packed with flavor and the shoe string onion was the perfect addition and honestly needs to be in every burger I ordermoving forward lol The only small issue we had was one of the drinks we ordered came with a fly inside, but that immediatelygot corrected as soon as we alerted our waiter. 1st time visiting Matchbox. Ambience was nice, food was good. Our server was nice, but she missed a couple of this. Our food... took a little while but was overall good. We had the Bistro Burger, the fried chicken sandwich, lg cheese pizza and the wafflewith chocolate chips for dessert. Main course food was a bit overpriced in my opinion and several of the food items were MarketPrized. Wouldn't mind visiting again in the future. And the prosecco was nice ????! Read more
