I'm not sure I'm the poster child for McDonald's but I do eat at McDonald's or get things to drink often two or three times... every day. Since I travel and have family in several States I was visiting friends and relatives and stopped at this store inSuperior. I often get to know the workers and managers pretty well and my first impression of Alan the manager was highlypositive. I knew right away if I had any issues this was the kind of person that would diffuse any conflict or frustration. Hewas approachable and not a letter of the law type person or my way or the highway way of being. Clearly he understood theMcDonald's mantra of give them the pickle and if I made a special request I'm sure he would honor it within reason of course.Too many times managers hold their ground and won't give a person an extra pickle or lemon or a few extra onions on theirsandwich and they want to charge for everything which goes against what I believe in and what I think fast foods and restaurantsshould be about, which is the customer. I definitely would put him at the top of any manager I've ever met in over 8 or 10states that I've traveled. I just wanted everyone to know that this is a store I would come back to again and definitely will onmy travels and current visit. Maybe we could hire Alan away to do training for managers around the country so they understandthe McDonald's mantra "give them the pickle".... Giving this location 1 star because yesterday I found a fruit fly in my Hi-C right after we had drove away from the drive... through. I've heard this isn't this location's only instance of pests finding their way into food/drinks and that someone oncegot a sandwich from here with a fly in it. Read more
I spend about 250 dollars a month at this location. its alot i know. About once a month they get my order wrong. Usually i just... call and get a coupon to be sent to me, but i never get them in the mail. So i call back a couple weeks later after its beenenough time and i just go in and get the meal. But this time I had ticked off the manager i guess because she told me I need tosave every receipt or they wont replace my order. If they are going to get mad because they made a mistake and want me to takeextra steps I think ill just stop going there. I can spend my money someplace else. Read more
Food was mediocre and they wouldn't even give me a job. The hiring process was a horrible video clip filled disasterpiece of a... time to complete. I will eat here only if I'm dying of hunger otherwise I recommend across the street at burger king ???? ????if you want a real meal ???? Read more
I love this McDonalds. Always clean and the staff are very friendly. Only issue is that it?s always super busy, but I don?t mind... the wait. Read more
Still the same good food, it was Saturday morning and I went through the drive thru, it was rather busy and two lanes that were... formed each had 4-5 cars deep, I was thinking boy this could be awhile but nope in and out of there in less than 7 minutes orless! Same great food Read more

The manager in ???? flair is amazing. All staff are 100% professional and keep it clean. And arguably have the best views of... any McDonald's I've ever visited in my life. Lake superior is amazing Read more
