Stopped there this past Saturday mid-bike ride with a 4 and 5 yo who had been promised Rita?s an hour before. The only problem... was their parents hadn?t checked what time Rita?s opened and we pulled up a full hour before the noon opening. As we were aboutto break it to them, an employee opened the window and said that while they wouldn?t technically open for an hour, depending onwhat we planned to order she could probably serve us. Of course one kid wanted an advertised special with all the bells andwhistles or bust and somehow they were able to whip up something acceptably similar for him. Can?t say enough about a storegoing out of its way to save us from disappointing those sweaty little faces and preventing a possible meltdown. Cheers andTHANK YOU for the unexpected kindness!
