We went here for Thanksgiving lunch and I can\'t say enough good things about the service and food. I had the Iskender Kabob... and it was super good with a great portion. Very authentic Mediterranean food. My wife had the chicken shawarma and she wasthrilled with her food also. Read more

This place did not disappoint. The portion size was big and all the food tasted really good. I had the gyro plate with hummus... and stuffed grape leaves.\n\nI think this place may have gotten a bad wrap when they first opened. But it seems like theylistened and corrected some things. Read more

Delicious! Ordered the Vegan wrap, Choban Salad, Beef Kabob Wrap, Dolma Stuffed Grapes Leaves, and Pistachio baklava. Everything... was so good. Take-out wait time was less than 10 minutes. We will definitely be going back! Read more

I had lunch here today with my dad. After lunch, I had to message my accountant to see if I could claim a business as a... dependent on next year\'s taxes because I\'m going to be spending so. much. money. here. Y\'all, this food is so delicious, thestaff are just as sweet and friendly and wonderful as can be... I did not realize how badly I had been missing this kind offood. I brought my dad here because he was feeling adventurous and I recommended Baba\'s because I\'ve been eagerly awaitingtheir opening. I was nervous because this was going to set the tone for an entire culture\'s cuisine for my dad and I had nevertried the food at Baba\'s. I worried in vain because the food was INCREDIBLE. Oh my cheese and crackers, the dolma? perfection.Lentil ball? perfection. Lamb gyro? perfection. Steak bowl? perfection. Tabbouleh? I have never had tabbouleh like that beforebut it was DELICIOUS. oh my gosh, and the baklava... The pistachio baklava. I wish I had recorded a video of my dad tryingbaklava for the first time because his face... ???????????? I had to fight him for the leftovers!! My dad and I had a marveloustime here and I cannot WAIT to come back! Read more

I?ve been waiting to try Babas out since they?ve opened and finally went about three weeks after they opened. I don?t know what... everyone else is griping about in the reviews - their food was excellent. I got the Beef&Lamb bowl with green salad. The lamband beef were cooked well done but still tender! The salad was fresh and bountiful with toppings (feta, tomato, pepperocini, onions, green olives, black olives, and cucumbers). The customer service was great - they even confirmed my side before packingit up. The pita triangles were warm, lightly crisp around the edges, and soft in the middle.\nI?m glad we have a fresh andhealthy option in Surf City! Read more

Absolutely Terrible.\n\nI\'m so irritated that I spent $85 and spent an hour waiting for literally cut up lettuce, raw onions,... and the wrong type of meat with no dressing.\n\nThe first picture was supposed to be a chicken gyro bowl with red onions cherrytomatoes, chick peas, avocado, and tzatziki sauce. Missing more than half the ingredients.\n\nThe second photo was supposed tobe the Lamb Gyro Platter with rice, which was missing, and the Hummus was also missing. The hummus that was included withanother meal had whole garlic cloves in it. The baklava had a pit in it that thankfully I didn\'t chip a tooth on.\n\nSeriously,I get food service can have mistakes, but for $85 freaking dollars and an hour wait this was the absolute worse. I will not besurprised if they are not here by this time next year. I wish I could get my money back. Read more

Showed up unknowingly at closing time and the owners insisted on still feeding me! They were kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable... about their food, and service was so fast. The lamb gyro, red tabbouleh salad, and hummus with pita were delicious! Don?t forgetthe flaky and fresh baklava! A great addition to Surf City - I will definitely be back soon! Read more
