We stopped by Michaelangelo's after playing putt putt while on vacation. This place was great!!! They have some of the best... pizza we have ever eaten, and trust me, we've had a lot of pizza from a lot of places. It was so delicious that we stopped byagain on our way out and ordered two large pizzas to take home (4 hours away). We will definitely be back next year!!! Read more
I am really picky and even worse when it comes to food. We were just shopping and stopped here for a quick lunch. We ordered a... 12" ham and cheese(hot) w. Lettuce, tomato, and mayo, banana peppers on the side, an order of fries and two fountain drinks. Wedidn't have to wait too long at all and the food was hot and fresh. Really a great find! We are staying in Surf City right off S Shore. Easy to find. 1.5 hours after I ordered I get a missed call. No message, no text.... I wait another 15 min thinking they are busy. I call the store and ask for an ETA. She said the driver couldn?t find us and wedidn?t answer our phone. ?? Huh? We are tourist and found it easy. Do the drivers not have GPS? Do they not leave messages ortext? They were waiting for me to call back and see what we wanted to do. How did I even know to call back. So they are going toremake our order and try again. We have supported this business at numerous locations in the WIlmington area since they opened. Generally the food is good, but... the service leaves a lot to be desired. I have been waiting over an hour and a half for some garlic bread and a simple pepperoni and cheese pizza. This was a take out order too ordered online?. Read more
We came here for dine in and waited 1.5+ hrs for pizza and longer for steak and cheese. The restaurant was about half capacity... in terms of customers. We kept asking for an ETA on our food only to be told they would check and never come back. We were toldthat dine-in takes priority on food prep, but while waiting we saw many times more carryout orders leaving while way fewerdine-in customers were just waiting. We weren't the only table that waited much longer than the dozens of carry out customerswere spending 5 - 10 minutes tops waiting. Read more

Extremely long delivery time! The driver got lost in the 1.5 miles from the restaurant to my house. When they finally got here... the pizzas looked like this! I immediately called, and the manager wanted to get new pizzas made and sent out to replace these.It?s already been an 1.5 hours. My kids are hungry I?m hungry I?m not going to make my kids wait another hour to eat, I demandedmy money back but of course I have to wait for the driver try to try to find my house again before they?ll refund me my order.What was supposed to be a nice pizza night turned into a stressful delayed and rushed whip together something fast. We have ordered sub sandwiches from. Michaelangelo's, Meat Balls sub. An Chicken Parmesan. Both subs were great. Just make sure... you have them repeat your request. Or you may not get what you order. It is some times hit an miss. Read more
