I wasn't blown away by anything we got which was the super chilled salad, half dozen oysters, lasagna and sea bass. Hubby thinks... we may have ordered poorly, but for a $200+ meal, SOMETHING should have been delicious. Not sure we will return. Read more

Oh I wanted to LOVE this place..and honestly it was very good. The food was definitely 5 star. Unfortunately the service wasn't... there. It was very good...but definitely not the level that one would expect for a $600 dinner for two. The dover sole wasexcellent as well as the Caesar salad. I don't think I understood what all the fuss is about the ice cream sundae...it was goodbut nothing too special IMO. The service seemed overwhelmed..maybe just a tough evening when we were there. Beautifulrestaurant for sure...glad we went but probably once and done. Read more

There’s no wonder why Surf Club boasts a Michelin star. Everything from walking though the doors to the professionalism of the... workers to their service and food was superb. The restaurant is part of a much bigger hotel so it can give you the resortfeeling while you’re dining here (which we liked). The lobster Thermidor is to die for (it wont be hot, it’ll be warm/roomtemperature which is how it’s supposed to be served). Their lamb chops are delicate and succulent. All of their drinks anddishes look like fine art—we didn’t even want to touch or eat them. But we did and we would definitely eat here, again. Beprepared to pay $400+ for an average dinner for two. Food and service was impeccable! Ambience was like old Hollywood glamour. Absolutely will return the next time we stay in Miami.

Great food, service and vibes. My wife and I made a dinner reservation on a Saturday evening and the place did not disappoint.... We heard about this place from following Thomas Keller in social media and had some good expectations. The food was reallytasty, the service was great and the decor was beautiful. Lots of green, pink, white resembling a beautiful sunset in Miami. Wedined in an air conditioned patio, which felt like you were outside without the bugs or humidity. Definitely recommended. As aThomas Keller restaurant, it’s worthy of a Michelin star in my opinion. Read more

What a phenomenal Valentine’s dinner experience we had at The Surf Club last night. The Four Seasons Hotel itself is a... beautiful venue. But the Surf Club is in a world of its own. The ambiance takes you to another time and another place. It feelsold, old Miami where waiters dress in suits or full white aprons. Where the hostesses greet you with smiles and enthusiasm. Wefelt so welcomed from the moment we walked in and were immediately whisked off to a great corner banquette location. It’s amagnificent dining room, right out of the pages of Architectural Digest with beautiful arched glass doors, antique mirroredwalls and painted wallpaper. The pre fixe menu was robust and full of great notes. Caviar, truffles , pate , an AMAZING steak ,a deconstructed celery salad . Each bite of every course was a satisfying surprise of flavor. The entire meal was sinfullydelicious and service was exceptional. Though the bill was hefty, the experience was definitely worth every dollar. Doyourself a favor and treat yourself and your special someone to an elegant evening at The Surf Club. We will definitely becoming back too! Read more

We dined at the Surf Club during our honeymoon. Staff was wonderful and everyone took such good care of us. We were served a... slice of chocolate cake at the end of our meal to congratulate us, which was incredibly thoughtful. In terms of the food, it wasgood but not incredible. Menu items are quite limited and it is mostly steakhouse vibes. Dishes are not super refined/elaborate,it’s mostly a combination of basic salads, steaks/fish, and some raw bar items. None of the appetizers appealed to us so wewent straight for mains. I had the salmon and my spouse the eggplant parmesan. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the skin wascrispy which was wonderful. However, the spices/marinades of the skin tasted slightly off which made the overall skin tasteheavily fishy. The eggplant parmesan was delicious but the fried breadcrumbs on top of it were a little too extra and made thedish quite heavy. Chocolate cake was good but a bit dry and basic. Overall, the atmosphere and service were fantastic but thefood was not much more special than an average restaurant. There are other places in Miami with more elaborate dishes anddelicate flavors.
