Great place! Go there about once per month. Always able to make a reservation on open table. We get seated quickly so the staff... is trained well and it seems to be well managed. The atmosphere is a little dated but there is a lot of seating and the bar islarge with more than one Bartender. I hate the restaurants where you are invisible at the bar waiting for the one overworkedbartender to notice you! Not the case here. The food is always consistently good and comes out quick. Servers are well trainedand responsive. Try the ribs they are delicious. Salads are also terrific. Portions are large so great place to get the to gobox for lunch the next day! We always make a stop when we are near California Dreaming. Great menu selection and food never disappoints. The ribs were... cooked perfectly with a flavorful spice rub on them. I love that they send them to you with the sauce on the side. Great serviceas well. They were very busy and we were amazed at the hustle on display. Read more

Steak, shrimp, salad and sides-oh, my! Date night got us reserving a table(recommended) and a prompt text msg got us seated... without delay. Beautifully decorated open floor plan with vaulted wood ceilings, bar and soft lighting setting a comfortableambiance. Drinks came promptly followed by our salads and a warm, sweet croissant that simply melted in your mouth. Firstsalads were a mixup but replacements soon came on chilled plates. My Caesar was a nice mix of crisp romaine with grated romanocheese and croutons. Sizable salad nicely tossed and topped. My aged USDA choice 10oz. sirloin steak came marinated in fruitjuices, garlic, soy sauce and spices and grilled to my liking. It was moist, loaded with flavor but a tad stringy in the middle. Add on was succulent broiled shrimp with a tangy cocktail sauce and my side was home style mashed potatoes that were chunky anda variation of flavors. Not your standard mashed potatoes. Service was impeccable and Christine was on her A game, working hersouthern charm that quickly won us over. Read more
We reserved our table several hours before heading in, so the wait wasn’t bad at all when we got there. Ordered the She Crab... and San Francisco Shrimp… both really good! To top it off, Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla ice cream! Read more
We came for a shopping day specifically to the Myrtle Beach area to have a California Dreaming salad …. Since our California... Dreaming in Charleston is not open for lunch during the week! We made reservations, but since we came for a late lunch so wewere seated right away. We ordered an order of croissants and both got California Dreaming salads. The plate of croissants cameout, they weren’t warm and didn’t have enough honey butter on them, so we had to ask for more. Our salads came with anothercroissant… Which was better than the plate of croissants. The croissants that came with our salad was warm and covered inhoney butter, just like they should be! We have both been craving California dreaming salads, so our cravings were fulfilled,because the salads was good. Service was good, so we had an enjoyable lunch. Read more
