I?m not certain I ate at the same place as people with all the wonderful reviews. It was $9.50 for an omelette and home fries.... The home fries were good. I had the wooden spoon omelette and swear it had to be s one egg omelette. The ingredients were fine,but the omelette itself was literally paper thin. I?ve never even seen such a thin omelette much less been served one. I hadproblems getting enough on the fork because it would crumble when I ?cut into it? with the side of my fork. Very wide variety on the menu. Everything I saw looked great. The prices for breakfast are good. The food here is just amazing.... They really know how to cook right. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. It is very roomy and visually pleasing so youdon?t feel cramped. Recommend this restaurant for wanting a sit down breakfast. Read more
So so good. We stayed 3 nights in surfside for vacation and we ate here 2 times. Omelet was amazing, the country fried steak... w/gravy was so light and not greasy so wonderful, French toast, and Pancakes. It may not be on the beach but this place is worthit from food to service and it's family owned so a wonderful personal touch. We didn't have lunch or dinner, but breakfast wasgreat! Read more
Unfortunately I only ate here 2x as I found this amazing little spot at the end of my vacation. The restaurant is cozy &... clean. Awesome service by attentive, sweet server both times. The owner approached out tables and checked in on us on bothvisits. It was nice as we shared a little of our common ties to New England. The food is fresh, taste awesome.. Family decided to try out the restaurant for breakfast and all were pleased. Home fries on a plates seemed a little salty and... syrup isn't sweet so french toast and pancakes were dull. Drinks are overpriced. Read more
Came here on vacation and food was excellent. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the grits. The biscuits were flaky and... buttery, and the sausage gravy was full of flavor. The grits had the perfect texture and were so flavorful. If I go back to SC,this is the first place I want to return to. 10/10 highly recommend. Read more
Cute little place in downtown Surfside. Food is good. Nice outdoor patio. Friendly staff.
