This is one of the best beach restaurants in Surfside! We had fantastic service. Our lunch was perfection! The food was... excellent. Huge portions, I needed a 'to-go' box. The view amazing. The breeze from the Gulf was fabulous. This is our new"go-to" restaurant, especially when our family and friends come to visit us at the beach. 10 stars. Read more
Stopped in for lunch. Fast, friendly, and good service. Great view of the surf from our outdoor table, completely in the shade.... The 1 lb burger was fantastic and the fresh, grilled Texas redfish entree was equally good with homemade mac and cheese andwell seasoned green beans. Beer was nice a cold. Highly recommend! Read more
The only waiting we did was for them to set up a table for 8, which was quick. There's really no bad seating outside and the... menu is full of many different dishes. My blackened shrimp were large, plump and delicious, actually everything on my platterwas, my husband was impressed with the chicken fried chicken platter. Took my dad out to Surfside on Memorial Day to eat seafood. We chose this place as it has an accessible ramp for him. The view... was spectacular, and the wait time was low, even on Memorial Day. You could eat outside and enjoy the views, or inside if it'stoo hot. I had the fried catfish and it was good. Things to keep in mind: -The bathroom is inside, hang a right, past the stairsto the right again. -Its breezy but can still be hot. -prices are a bit more high-end. -it can still be sticky inside! This gets 5-stars if for no other reason than their chicken fried steak was the biggest portion I?d ever seen, and the breading... was golden brown and crunchy. The green beans were fresh. And it even comes with a (quite good) side salad. The hostesses arefriendly and responsive, and our waitress RC was very cheerful and provided great service. Prices were competitive for themarket. We chose to eat inside because we thought the breeze would cool our food too quickly. If you?re not worried about that,their outdoor seating looked great. You?re practically sitting on the beach. We made our first family vacation/long weekend getaway to Freeport/Surfside Beach. This place was recommended by a family friend... and boy did it not disappoint! We had our family dog with us so learning that the patio/beach overlook allowed dogs alreadystarted things off right. We were greeted upon walking up the stairs and sat almost immediately with the most amazing view ofthe Gulf and beach. The waitress that we had was fantastic. Kept the drinks topped off, recommended some of her favorites andalways was great about checking in. We started off with 2x orders of the boiled shrimp for appetizer and it was fantastic!Excellent seasoning, not too much spice and the cocktail sauce was definitely not store bought (which tasted amazing!). We hadseveral drinks (Hurricanes and margaritas) both which I thought tasted great. I had the grilled Gulf snapper and it wasdelicious! My dad had the chicken fried steak and it covered the entire plate! The dirty rice left a little to be desired but itmay not have just fit my taste. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to absolutely anyone! Between the views, deliciousfood, and great waitress, we will definitely be back if we head to Surfside again. Read more
