It started off with a very long wait. Placed my order and went to sit down. There were flies everywhere. Went to the... self-service machine for my beverage and half the choices were unavailable and there was no carbonation in the other drinkoptions. After some time I went back up to find out what was taking so long and was told that they didn't have the pieces ofchicken that I had ordered. So I had to settle for something different. The only good thing about this particular visit toPopeyes was the interaction with the young lady who took our order. I want to make it clear that the employees are doing the best they can. I went in for a simple order, just a family size order... of nuggets, and ended up waiting over 30 minutes between entering and leaving. That being said, the nuggets were fantastic, asthey always are. I'm not the biggest fan of the rest of Popeye's menu, but after trying a nugget from a roommate, I knew I'dwant more. I want to give praise to Mia specifically, though anyone else who was also working today I could commend, thoughtheir names I didn't get. If anything, I feel like this location needs to hire on more staff to help support the alreadyhard-working employees that are trying to keep pace with lunch rushes and ungrateful patrons who don't understand how businesseslike this operate and how stressful the environments can be. 4 Stars because the food was good, but the wait time and theunderstaffed location are unacceptable, though again, I do not blame the current working staff who are trying their best to workin their conditions. This is possibly the worst experience I have ever had in my life. My fiance and I went to get food, we ordered 2 10 piece... classic bone in chicken with 2 sides and biscuits. I also added in an order of nuggets since we had guests and I wanted toensure we had plenty to go around. I pull up to the drive thru and not a single other person is in line and I am asked to wait amoment the second I got to the box. 5 minutes later they finally take my order, they inform me it will be about 20 min for theclassic chicken. I say no problem, pay, and park while I wait. My fiance went inside and there were multiple employees talkingand laughing while on their phones, a ton of available food behind them that was not being packed or expedited. After 35 min Idecide to go in and just check to see how much longer it will be. I see a large bag that is just sitting waiting to be deliveredand no one is doing a single thing. Finally someone grabs it and starts walking, we asked if it was our order, they said yes.Mind you they didn't add a single thing to the bag before handing it to me, it was just sitting there. The bag was DRENCHED insauce on the inside and we didn't even get our complete order, the 10 piece classic chicken we ordered and waited 40 min for wasno where to be found. We expressed it was ridiculous and the employee laughed at us. I WILL NEVER RETURN. They clearly do notcare a single solitary but about their jobs and I refuse to waste any more of my time and money on this place. If I could givethem negative stars I would. Read more

We ordered two 10 piece meals with 2 sandwiches and an order of nuggets. My daughter and son in law waited for over 40 minutes... for this order to be completed. Meanwhile there's food stacked up in the hopper and all employees standing around looking attheir phones. All the time the orders are not being fulfilled in any sort of timely manner. They clearly don't care abouttheir customers. And on top of all that time spent waiting while nearly no one does their jobs, they short us an entire 10piece bone in chicken on the order! Utterly and completely unacceptable Popeyes! If this location goes out of business theycompletely and totally deserve it by putting completely incompetent employees in there. The management needs to step their gameup and get people to do their jobs or shut this location down. Because right now it's utter trash. Are chicken tenders we had for dinner we're like rubber, very much like a rubber band. The biscuits were hard and the mashed... potatoes had a lot to be desired. The inside of the restaurant was absolutely disgusting there were only about two or threeclean tables in the whole place also tons of stuff were all over the floor I don't think they've cleaned in there in weeks. Definitely one of the better Popeyes in the Arizona metro, this one is usually on point with the orders and has been quite good... with cleanliness as well as customer service. I had a fantastic experience on 08/10/22 in the evening. The evening crew wereawesome at not only taking down my complicated order, but got everything right, even the sauces, which, if y'all are familiarwith Popeyes, always seem to forget. The food was nice and hot, the crew were very kind and patient with me, and overall it wasa very pleasant experience. 10/10 would recommend this place. Read more

We have had Popeyes chicken a couple of times now. This time we won't be back. The chicken itself was awful looking. And, their... taste is off with the flavor.
