We got the house special fried rice and the rare steak and flank pho. It is the best Vietnamese restaurant we have ever tried,... and somehow the least expensive. The service was incredible, they were very nice and the food came out quickly and hot. Therestaurant was clean and a nice cozy atmosphere. Absolutely amazing and we will be back. Read more

Surprise Pho is not the place to go if you want to customize your food with decent customer service. I asked for non spicy... chicken pho. I was given their pre packaged bag with jalapeños and Sriracha sauce and instead of lime, a lemon. I went backin 2x more and asked for no spicy and lime. The first time they handed me a bag of bean sprouts. The second time, bean spoutsand a lemon. They said if I come in again they would charge me for the food that supposed to come with the order. I was toofrustrated to go back in to make the order right. If I could give zero stars I would. Also worker/owner splashed water fromprevious customer cup onto sidewalk right outside entry door. I ordered the large dumpling pho. I ate in and took 1/2 home. The whole dish was very well done. The broth had a really nice... complexity to it and seasoned well.
