Found this restaurant while searching for places to dine during our visit to Surprise. Hotel warned us to call first, but I got... no answer when I called to confirm availability. We decided to try our luck anyway and found the restaurant was not crowded.Cocktail menu features a long list of martinis. My companion ordered a dry version and was pleased with the drink. I ordered aglass of red wine. The special meal was Osso Bucco and it came with a delicious squash bisque. A table nearby heard usdiscussing dessert and recommended the bread pudding. We're in Surprise visiting my Mom and Dad and wanted to find a different place to take them. My wife made a great choice! Nice... decor, quick service. Enjoyed our apps, especially the beef tips. They were tasty and tender. Our lunch entrees were alldelicious as well. Portions were generous. Had a jalapeño pineapple Margarita that was well balanced. Not too sweet or spicy.My wife and Dad said their Arnold Palmers were some of the best they had. Prices, all very reasonable. Looked over the dinnermenu as well. Ditto. Staff was attentive but Kristin (hope I spelled it correctly) was the icing on the cake. Went over the menuthoroughly, friendly and funny. Too bad there aren't more like her out there!! Read more
Ordered to go. Pictured is the Lobster Mac and Cheese that was $26. I can't imagine how wonderful this would have to be to... justify the price. It doesn't cover the bottom of the container! And my well done burger is not close to well done. Read more
We love Vogue and the service from Hythem! He is amazing and this is the best gem way out west. Great Martini’s, Wine ... selection, and French cuisine- I’ve never had a mediocre meal here. Come check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!!! Read more
Very wonderful experience! The waiter, Haytham was phenomenal, attentive and friendly. The drinks were so tasty! We had the St.... John and the Vogue Old Fashioned and they were made beautifully. The bruschetta was tasty with an olive tapenade topping. Thesalmon and risotto was done perfectly and very flavorful! The shrimp and risotto was also tasty although the shrimp wereoverdone. My husband said the risotto and sauce made up for it and declined a substitute when they offered it. Overall the bestanniversary dinner we've had in a long time! Read more
Let me start by saying our food was excellent! However getting seated was not. We had a 6:45 reservation on the patio on a... Thursday. Our table was not ready so we had a drink at the bar with Heather, the efficient and pleasant bartender. After waiting30 minutes we opted to sit inside. We waited at the table and no server approached. I let the hostess know, and still noserver! After 10 minutes of not being acknowledged, we moved back to the bar and had a wonderful meal, great drinks and a goodtime with Heather! If not for her, it may have been our first and last time at Vogue Bistro! Read more
Honestly, it was over hyped. Three dishes we received weren't good at all. The chefs special was the best item and apparently on... Monday they don't even have a chef special. I actually sent 1 dish back because it had no flavor and it honestly wasn't what wasdescribed. The apple tarte was damn near raw, so terribly undercooked it was still white. The bread pudding was a block ofcinnamon bread. The only thing good was the French onion soup, but it was topped with a square cap of what tasted like Pillsburyphyllo dough... Come on guys.. At least do a real crust.. I'll go back for drinks but I have to say I expected better. Read more
