this is thee best A&W location in the lower mainland for sure. for one, there is no drive-thru, how great is that?! which means... you can guarantee your food is cooked super fresh and super great everytime, because there isn't a long line of cars waiting forthere food. Second of all, it's open 24 hrs, 7 days a week! walk-in dining, where else can say that?? NOWHERE. In the pandemic most fast food location have lost their ability to have exceptional customers care and service, I have been to... many A&W and other fast food franchises to always find disappointing in their customers service. At this location it was anamazing experience, from the person taking the order to the person that delivered the food to my table, everyone was caring andensure I was happy with my meal. Fast service, fresh food and friendly team.
Cashier was a bit weird on responses and gave me a take out cup for root beer when we were dining in. Usually comes in the ice... cup so had to ask for it to be swapped. Oh well lol The pancakes were good and the owner I'm guessing that was cooking in thekitchen made the eggs perfectly over easy. Food was great and we enjoyed a great breakfast. We shall be back! This was an exceptional experience. The worker (possibly owner?) At the front went above and beyond. Was kind and courteous to... the kitchen staff and customers alike. Looked everyone in the eyes and called everyone by name. His pleasant demeanor stood outenough that everyone noticed (and i felt I should write a review!) Also, the food was delicious. Read more
You can tell the staff simply don?t care. 4:45 in the afternoon and the place is empty. All tables are dirty, trays piled up on... counter, garbage can overflowing outside with crows everywhere, floors filthy and the 3 staff are standing around behind countertalking and on their cell phones. Nothing like a frozen mug of A&W root beer with lunch! My 1st time here. The single patty burger is plenty for most people. I... got a double and couldn't finish it. Onion rings were perfect and even BETTER dipped in BBQ sauce. Staff was great and verypatient with us. Can't ask for better! Read more
