This was an outstanding meal in a beautiful ambiance and lovely staff. We interacted with many of the staff and every one of... them was courteous, kind, and serving with a smile. This alone is so nice to have from everyone around. Usually when you orderplatters you'd expect something to not be as good - but not here. Every single thing on this platter was so delicious. My hubbyalso had the apricot mule which was perfectly balanced and super yum! We want to go back and try more of the meats/skewers.They didn't have the mums secret dessert but hopefully next time we'll find out that secret ???? Highly recommend!! Read more
Tried this restaurant yesterday for the first time. We had to take a reservation before hand as this place was very busy. The... ambiance was very nice and the staff was welcoming. We were 4 of us and ordered 2 chicken kebabs, 1 Lamb shank, afghan breadand a chicken salad. The Lamb Shank was delicious and almost dissolved in my mouth. The perfect way I like lamb to be. Voted Vancouver Best 100 and I vote as one of the best in my life as well. My dining experience at the Afghan Kitchen was so... satisfying and special with amazing dishes that were full of flavor with high quality and fresh ingredients and food. Every dishwas delicious and unique. The service was amazing as well. Our server was so friendly and polite which made our experience evenbetter. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. I can definitely tell that the employees really put emphasis onhygiene. Food, service, vibes and sanitation are all high standards. I can guarantee that anyone who loves food and likes toexperience a new culture will have the most amazing time in Afghan Kitchen. Thank you for such a precious memory:) Read more
This is the place for finest Afghan cuisine in Lower Mainland area. Comfortable and spacious with an outdoor patio. Amazing... delicacy. Good taste and cooked to perfection ???? Friendly staff! This is a great place to come with as a family, with friends or as a couple! The ambiance and environment is quite nice. The... food is quite good. We came here for my brother's convocation dinner (we were 6 people). The food and service was quite good. Weordered the Two Nights In Kabul platter and the Spicy Grilled Chicken. The food was good, especially the platter. The spicygrilled chicken was underwhelming but the Chef was very kind and gave us a discount on it. They also gave us a complimentarydessert. One of the best restaurants in South Surrey/White Rock. Family-owned! Amazing ambience, we loved sitting on the cushions on the... floor. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. When you think of an afghan restaurant, this place wouldn’t be what you’d expect. This is a very modern restaurant but well... designed and integrated the Afghan influence in its artwork and style. The food was delicious, not very authentic, but stillgood flavours and great taste. The soup is similar to the Persian Ash Reshte, but with red sauce instead. The chicken nuggetswere fine. Did not carry the Afghan yogurt drink, so that was disappointing. Overall a very fusion and modern take on theAfghan food, but done well. The docking points are on the higher than normal prices. Truly a wonderful dining experience. There is a great selection of veg and non- veg options. Every dish brought lively flavors... and did not disappoint. The service was excellent as the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience was very uniqueas there were options for table and floor seating adding to the experience.
