I have had much better noodles in my life. Thr broth did lack flavour and I think the meat wasn't fresh. Next time I would... rather drive 20 Mins to No. 1 beef noodles Also, the place needs air conditioning, I was sweating the whole time - not acomfortable place to dine in Read more

Got the Sea Food Hotpot Combo and Popcorn Chicken. Sea Food Combo was 17 bucks. Popcorn Chicken was 10 bucks. Total was around... 30 bucks. It was a 2 person meal. Popcorn Chicken was way too expensive. Not worth it. The portion was small too. I'd say itwas worth 7 or 8 bucks. In picture u can see it looks like a lot but that's because the plate has a bigger surface area. Not awhole lot of height or weight in that bowl. Sea Food Hotpot without the combo was $13 bucks. I got the combo. With or withoutthe combo, worth it in my opinion. This pot had height. Worth the buy. Overall quality of food was good! Service was good.4.5/5! Lost 0.5 because of the Popcorn Chicken price. I have eaten with this restaurant before. That was 2 years or 3 ago. Idont know if it was the waiters or the chef that was making things difficult but everyone got their foods before my table. Wewaited almost 1h for our food. The restaurant is better now but because of that experience, I'm rounding my score down insteadof up. Overall experience, 4/5. Let's see if they keep up the good work next time! Read more

Was craving the spicy beef and tendon taiwanese noodle. The portions were good. I found the broth a bit on the watery side... (lacking a little on the flavor side) but the beef and tendon were cooked and marinated well and made up for it. Overall enjoyedthe dish. The deep fried tofu was also yum, a bit much on the sauce which softens it a bit. The black pepper beef and onion(with rice) combo was pretty tasty too. Read more

My favourite place for stewed tofu and fried squid. I noticed food quantity has changed since pre-covid and the tofu is much... smaller/thin, but still delicious. (Especially the fried squid!) You may notice residue or stains on all the cups, but theserver reassured that its from the hot water they use to wash them. Read more

Their beef noodle soup is very tasty. Deep fried squid is very good too. Wish they had some sort of dipping sauce for that. Got... takeout order few times from here. Their spicy pork cabbage portion is very small for the price. I don?t know if this was amistake but won?t be ordering that. Read more

I got the brisket beef noodle soup after seeing very good reviews. I was a bit disappointed that the soup wasn't as rich in... flavor as I had hoped. The beef was very hard and rubbery, probably the worst thing about the whole dish. The noodles andpickled mustard greens were good though. Overall the dish was OK but wouldn't order it again. One of the few places that stays open late in the heart of Whalley downtown if you crave for some Chinese food. The menu is... quite complicated, I do wish that they have more pictures to help out people who don?t speak the language because some of thedishes are hard to interpret. I was a bit tick off as they serve warm tea instead of hot tea. I did ask for a change which theychange promptly afterward. The deep fried tentacles was tasty but a bit overcooked. The 3 Cup braised chicken has a nice wine, ginger flavour which goes well with rice. The spicy fried fish in garlic sauce was not bad too. Each dish do come with sides ofrice, pickles and vermicelli noodle. Portion is good and the price is not bad. Give me a thumbs up ???????? If you like myreview. Read more
