Bathroom is flithy. Never cleaned. Staff are cutting their nails near food prepping areas. Avoid this business

I was in there today October 22, 2020 at approximately 5: 15. I had just got home from work and bought two packs of cigarettes... which you know that they are very expensive . And I am in the process of trying to quit smoking . When I got home I could notfind them and I was annoyed as I thought I might have dropped them . So I went back and told the nice young man( I do apologizeI can't remember his name he has been working there for at least three 3 yrs) I lost them and I needed to buy 2 more packs. Hekept them to the side for when I returned. He was and is always very honest . I do hope you recognise a great employee. I didsee some negative reviews about the washroom was not in use ( probably because of the Covid ) also one about an employeetexting . Well it was because he was having his dinner break as these little stores do not have a lunch room . Also one aboutthe customer limit in stores ( Well you cannot have staff trying to enforce these rules especially at this location . People canget very angry and staff do not need to be abused verbally or physically . All the staff are wearing masks and there is handsanitizer every time I go in . Lots of great selection of drinks and snacks. Store is clean however with COVID19 still out there, the employees don't implement... their rules with the number of customers in the store or social distancing. They have signs everywhere saying only 5 customersin the store at a time however when I was inside there was almost 20 people inside. One employee was just standing off to theside texting on his phone. No management around to tell them otherwise. Read more
Very nice staff, especially the guy who I believe is the owner. They are always very friendly and welcoming. Once I bought two... drumsticks, and the owner pointed out that one of them was broken, as I hadn't even noticed. It's clear that my business is wellappreciated, and as a result I often stop by here for some late-night snack foods or slurpees and drinks on especially hot days.Only somewhat negative experience was understandable to a degree as I used the restroom when there was someone I was notfamiliar working, and they knocked on the door and asked me to finish up after 10 minutes, likely assuming I was either doingdrugs, drinking, or vandalizing, which is most definitely common in such a place, especially given that it's near the NewtonExchange bus station. The customers seem generally nicer than those who go to the nearby McDonald's and Tim Hortons. A couple oftimes I've had people ask if I could lend a smoke, but they were polite despite me being a non-smoker. Read more
Nice place with a lot of options. Ky kids loved the Froster machine. The staff was nice and all in all a great experience.
dirty overpriced and the staff is often rude.. avoid this neighborhood if you can most of the businesses are of the same... reputation. Read more
