We bought a chicken curry, and it was very oily. I have attached the picture of the oil separated. Just imagine what happens... when that amount of oil is eaten. I also got garlic naan as a complimentary. They had just spread raw garlic paste which wasgreen in colour. The rawness of the garlic nearly burnt out our tongues. I know gateway?s food is tasty. I like their food as you get what you pay for. Chili Chicken used to be really good and now the chicken always seems to be over... cooked. The other dishes are good. I wish they introduce garlic toast as a side to have with the pizza. Read more
I?ve ordered with these guys for a long time. Recently their customer service has just gotten worse and worse. Yesterday I... ordered a large order for delivery. When the driver came I paid, the machine looked like it wasn?t working and when I mentionedthis to the driver he said no it?s paid here?s your food and left. He was kind but not sure he understood. 1am I received 10text messages from the driver that my payment didn?t go through and Gateway had taken money out of his pay and I had to pay himback for the issue. He then called me 3-4 times today. When I called the manager I was told yes it didn?t go through and heapologizes for the harassment. He sent a driver for me to pay and I didn?t even receive a discount for the way I was treated byhis worker. I?m sad to say because the food is delicious but I will never be going back to this establishment. Read more
Was standing there for 1 hour waiting for my order. Order was placed 30 mins before and yet have to wait for 1 more hour. We... order food to save our time and enjoy gathering. Finally, got home without having my order and prepare food by ourselves in 30minutes lol . Not preferred to takeout. Waiting period too long. Read more
I have tried only the pizza so far from this place. One of the best Indian flavoured pizza I ever had. Butter chicken and... tandoori pizza was excellent. Very generous with the toppings, especially meat. My go to takeout place in surrey for pizza. Makesure you order way ahead of time. Read more
This is second time I have ordered pizza from Gateway and I really liked it both times. I have tried their veg paneer pizza and... it was really good and value for money. I ordered pizza over call, they asked for 20 minutes and order was ready within quotedtime so full marks for service. Only deducting 1 star because I found this pizza very spicy, but that can be everyone's personaltaste so if you like spicy food then this is definitely for you. Store was well maintained and staff was friendly so full markson that part. Read more
Order indian style pizza but it doesn?t had any flavour such as ginger coriander upon requesting as well. When called back to... check they put on hold nd never listened. And lady on phone start arguing thats its our mistake. Chicken tasted like old. Withincreasing demand their quality is getting low. Read more
