Always happens and only with this restaurant, order one thing from this restaurant and they send the other. Today I ordered a... chicken malai tikka and they sent me noodles. Now what should I do for my guests?? And then when I called the restaurant ladypicked the call and then disconnected it without saying anything after asking me to hold the call. I had ordered a soup from here and the person on the phone told me to come in 20-30 minutes. So I showed up around 25 minutes... later and the manager got mad stating he had told me to come in 30-40 minutes, which is not true and the food shouldnt havetaken that long as I was waiting in an empty restaurant. I waited for an additional 1 hour in the restaurant before getting myfood, and the manager said it was due to an "important meeting". Manager was so unbelievably rude when giving rhe order too,didnt apologize for making me waiting 1.5 hour+ , and basically said it was my fault for showing up so early. We would never order from here again. Order was: Butter chicken - way more sweeter than its supposed to be. Shahi Paneer - it... was okay Dal Makhni - it tasted like feet, there was some stale taste as if they used expired spices. I remember the taste ofexpired spice as there was a time when one of my friend's cooked Dal which tasted the same, not just me but everyone felt thesame. We checked the exp date on dal makhni masala and it was expired. So we had to throw the whole batch away. Read more

Highly Highly Recommended!!!! I have always ordered from here but yesterday I went to dine in. I was extremely impressed with... the exceptionally friendly staff for their welcoming nature , fast service and personal attention. The food was preparedperfectly and keeping all our requests in mind. We were greeted, welcomed in a very warm manner. Food was sooooo good! I havetried chinese and indian food from many Surrey restaurants but only Mezbaan Chef knows what it means to make authentic Indianrecipes. Their Chilly Chicken, Fish Chilly, Goat Curry, is fingerlicking delicious. Their quantity is the best in town. NO OTHERRESTAURANT HAS QUANTITY AND TASTE AND PRICES LIKE THEM. We should really support such businesses who prefer quality andexcellent service over profits. Will recommed everyone to visit once. Read more
**Lesson learned: value fellow reviewers recommendations, learn from their experience and save yourself! Ordered chicken... biriyani, garlic fish, vegetable dumpling for dinner on a Saturday evening. The 'Chicken biriyani' ruined our dinner. Noway itwas 'Chicken Biriyani' either by taste or by flavor, rather it was rice mixed with left over chicken curries and few de-bonedchicken pieces literally shredded by hand!! To make it worst, they threw few bell pepper pieces and onions probably from leftover fried rice ingredients in the wok. Not sure why they do it to damage their reputation. I would appreciate if the restaurantwas honest enough to cancel my order for not having proper ingredients or chef for biriyani. However, compared to the biriyani,the rest two items were better, nothing that I would crave to eat again. Read more
