Not a Thai food lover but luckily ordered something delicious. The chicken lettuce wrap and platter starter are amazing. However... the green curry is too sweet and watery, looks like soup. We ordered the massaman curry, coconut rice, pad Thai. There was spillage in their not so very robust packaging. But this wasn?t... quite the blooper! - curry was salty - coconut rice was merely rice dipped in canned coconut milk - pad Thai was unimpressive,lacked the flavour. Damage? $40. Will we recommend? Perhaps worth your try, not to mention there isn?t parking nearby asthere?re moving traffic all across, so plan accordingly. Update2: - we dined in and found the food to be pleasingly good. Read more
Ordered food for 7 pm pick up and got email at 6:25 that it was ready. When asking about this, was told that they use their own... time. So why the text? Confusing. Food was cold. Plum sauce lid was not secure so it leaked in the waxed appetizer bag andslowly leaked out of it, soaking the paper which then broke apart causing a mess of red curry in the hallway. Restaurant deniedany responsibility. Disappointing. I much prefer Saba Thai on 150th and 104th by Guildford. Read more
We ordered ?shrimp in Blanket?, and the shrimp is totally uncooked. I use air fryer heated up and the shrimp being cooked, the... shrimp color became white. I can?t understand how this happened. And the yellow curry doesn?t come with any rice. Verydisappointed. Read more
I love the food here! but it's just a bit more expensive compared to the other Thai cafe i went to (see other reviews). We... cycle and often pass this place by when we come from Burnaby. This is one of the places we went to and we were not disappointedby the taste at all. It's spacious so people can have enough social distance. Servers have masks so i feel safe. They also havesanitation area as well. We also tried to order 2 take out vegetarian online but 1 was unavailable because their oyster saucewas not vegetarian. The lady was very understanding and she explained. She helped us decide that we should just cancel ouronline order and dine in while waiting for the other order to be cooked. I liked how she handled the situation. There was noeffort and discouragement on our part. We had a great dinner date! Currently, I see loads of food deliveries and take outorders going in and out of this place. They are still busy during this pandemic! I long to come back here again! Hopefully itwill be cheaper but maybe that's why it tastes good. Read more
Visited for dinner tonight, wife and I were very pleased with this place. Interior is very modern, open, and calming. Staff were... very friendly and readily available to help. Our dinner for just my wife and I was delicious. We opted for Green Curry andtheir house special noodles, with obligatory rice and 'Prawns In a blanket' to start. All dishes were very flavorful and rich,as expected with Thai cuisine. I did think the prawns were overpriced though ($13 for 6). Overall, great place for a quiet anddelicious meal. Read more
