I used to recommend Nando?s South Surrey to my friends and neighbours, but we ordered some chicken last night for our small... Thanksgiving gathering and were so disappointed as the chicken was over cooked and super dry (seemed as the chicken had beensitting forever) to the point that some pieces were inedible. I?m not sure if the owners changed or the cooks, but it definitelyisn?t what it used to be. It?s a shame really, because now you lost a customer? such a shame! I can see why other Nando?s haveclosed, and who knows? maybe this one will be closing soon as well if the food keeps being dry and inedible. It was such a wasteof $90!!! Read more
I?m not sure what the hype is about this place. I?ve had good & bad experiences here. One time this year I placed a take-out... order. Paid almost $8 for extra hummus for our pitas because they were super bland. They curtly shoved a couple scoops in a boxfor us. $4+ for a gingerale. No sauce. I didn?t realize you had to buy an extra bottle of sauce. Over $50 for a salad, bowl, agingerale, and minimal sauce/dressing. And $14 for an appy which consisted of a tiny bit of hummus with a couple pieces of driedup pita. Other times the chicken was good; however, the service is always poor and the sides are just meh. Awful place, when they cut portion sizes and hire people with awful personalities to manage the place like they have- there's no... point in going there. They messed up our order. We were polite about it and just wanted it fixed. They gave us attitude andacted like they were 5 years olds. Say bye to your business soon no one is going to return to overpay for imprudent service andbad food. Read more
The side order that comes with the share pack ?whole chicken ? is a joke. We ordered fries and spice rice as our side that... comes with the order. We all know how much does potatoes and rice cost, it would be nice if Nando?s at least to give enoughfoods to go around. Unfortunately, all the foods are gone but I will attached the box size so you can be the judge. This isthe last time I order from Nando as our office lunch. This is the third times and they have been constantly provide the lack ofportion size. I have to go to Domino?s after because we ran out of foods, people are still hungry. The two whole chicken areto share between 8 people. The box of fries that comes with it easily only enough for two people. Perhaps they should take alook at Five Guys the amount of fries they give you with the burger is generous and over our expectations. Went with my boyfriend the other night for dinner. Ordered the half chicken, and 2 sides. For over 20$, you'd imagine ALL the... chicken you would receive would be edible right? Well no. This is is half of our chicken looked like! That's not even worthmoney, and of course we couldn't eat that. Not the front end peoples fault, but sad you'd cut this and put it on someone'splate. I left feeling so upset that I spent my money night out with my bf on some chicken bones. 2 stars for the fries. Thisman also came in without a mask, keeping his distance from everyone else. When the evening supervisor asked him 3 times why hewasn't wearing one, he said each time he is exempt. She kept asking louder and louder and the poor man was clearly beingembarrassed. I could hear his answers on the other side of the restaurant.... how could she possibly not hear him 5 feet away.She was so rude, and obviously was trying to embarrass the man. I won't ever be back. Freshly made chicken and fries are awesome. Peri- peri sauce all are excellent with spice level. The salad and the wraps are... also mouth watering. My favorite things is grilled corn, that remind me of my childhood. Good customer service. Read more
Nice clean updated restaurant. Not very big but enough to have a fun lunch there. Lots of free parking available. Staff are... friendly and polite and happy to help. Seats are comfortable and foods are fresh. Prices are good and fair. Read more
Pre-ordered a take-out this afternoon. There must have been 10-12 people in the restaurant at this time. I gave the staff member... my name and waited by the counter and watched the food from the kitchen being put out. For nearly 10 minutes I watched the 2staff members walk by my food on a number of occasions. Cleaning the tables seemed more of a priority than putting the food out. Read more
