Came in for breakfast today and was not thrilled with the service. I completely understand being understaffed and busy, as I?ve... been a waitress/bartender for years. But our waitress walked passed our table several times without checking in if we neededanything. She proceeded to have nice chats with other tables. Which is totally fine! But she said she said she was super busyand frazzled when I mentioned how I wasn?t super happy with the service. We had to stop the host for extra napkins, sauce and adrink srefill. I wouldn?t normally write a review but I did mention to the waitress my thoughts and she was pretty dismissive. Read more
What happened tonight? Been to many Ricky's, this one in particular many times, all with very good experiences UNTIL TONIGHT.... Brought my Wife, her Mom & Aunt in for dinner. Restaurant was maybe 10% full @ 6. Meals slow to arrive, coffee refills muchslower, had to go ask, found 3 servers chatting at the counter. A small portion liver & onions arrived (last) as an onion soup.It was sent back & we waited for the true order to arrive as the 3 other meals grew cold. We've been happy regulars for 20 years, and supported them through the pandemic. But recently the quality of the food and... service has taken a nosedive. I drive and place my take out orders in person, so I can get the food home as hot as possible. Twoorders in a row have been short items, and worse, the food is undercooked and the portions smaller than usual. I get thatthey've had staff turn over - but undercooked food is a line I have to draw. Everyone has a bad day, but clearly I'm choosingthe wrong day. Read more
My friends and I came here for brunch. Our server Tara C. was nothing short of amazing. One of our friends from Florida was... visiting and she made him feel so welcome and she genuinely made our experience here 1000/10. She was super attentive and madesure we had everything we needed. Went for breakfast at 9 a.m. not busy and was greated by a nice lady. We all had the eggs Benny. That never happens the... Benny's were good. I forgot to ask for my eggs medium and the waitress never asked and they were soft but not enough a bigdeal to send back. I guess three stars because the shredded hashbrowns were undercooked No color at all on them and there fornot good. I would also like to see a slice of fruit on the plate. A slice of orange or pineapple. I'm not saying a wholeorange but just even a thin slice. The plate was very bland looking. The waitress was very nice and friendly. The food didcome very fast. Great food, clean family friendly environment. Its looks so clean and nice inside pleasantly surprised outside its a hidden... restaurant behind a shoppers loading we had a huge booth... Staff waiter was a young fellow, he was kind, fast and happy tohelp serve with a friendly attitude. :) I do recommend the hidden relaxed place for families or couples looking to dine out nabout. It's near Liquor store, Safeway, shoppers drug mart n Petro Canada. Read more
We were in a big group and the server's are clueless and don't know who ordered what dishes or drink. Food was subpar.
