For the past 6-7 years, I've literally been coming here every time I visit my inlaws (they live in the complex). Fast and... friendly service! They make the BEST spicy chop scallop roll EVER! Prices have stayed pretty much the same pre-to-post COVID,which is nice, compared to a lot of other restaurants that have jacked up their prices. Read more

If I would I would give this a zero star?I spend $120 there today and my yakizoba was super stale it seems like it has been in... the fridge for few days and just warmed up, I also got spicy tuna sashimi, that was not fresh at all the color was verydiscoloured I didn?t even want to eat it incase I had food poisoning, this is also not my first time eating tuna sashimi, I alsoasked for extra soy sauce and she said there was some in the bag and gived me 3 extra ones, when I got home there wasn?t evenenough for the amount of sushi I ordered, never coming back here again. I have to give this place a 1 star. The image you see is from Sushi California. Each roll is 8 pieces, which makes it more easy... to eat. It was DIVINE. I gave Sushi Train a chance to take my business as I had placed a $45 order over the phone.... but when Irequested my BASIC rolls to be cut into 8 pieces they said they could not do that, and that each roll would be in 5 pieces. Doyou know how BIG each piece would be? How do you fit that in your mouth? Maybe a guy can, I cannot nor would I want to. I alsodont want to have to 2-bite a sushi piece as that just leaves room for a big mess on your plate. I was taking this to agathering of women, could you imagine all of us with honkin pieces of sushi in our mouths??? Not very lady-like! My order was 2chicken teriyaki rolls, 2 veggie rolls, 2 yam tempura rolls, 1 avocado roll & 1 beef teriyaki roll. I am unsure why they optedto lose out on my business over adding 3 more cuts to each roll? Absurd. Sushi California had NO PROBLEM with this request. Ohwell! Guess I found my new sushi hub! It used to be Akasaka but ever since they appeared on the Fraser Health AuthorityInspection Report for unsanitized food surfaces/counters/dishes.... I stopped going there. What a shame Sushi Train! My gfactually lives in your building - we would've been regulars. I will happily go to Sushi California since they are moreaccommodating to their customers. Read more

I went there last week and gave them 4 stars, they have great portions and great value. The service was on spot too. Then I go... and call today to make a pick up order and get told after giving my order that they can not take my order and that I need tocall back in 30 to 40 minutes instead and reorder. Like really? What a joke? Read more

The sushi was great and very fresh tasting. The waitress was very helpful and polite. The speed of when everything arrived was... pretty fast considering it's a sit down and order place. My two only cons: lack of options and the lack of descriptions on thedifferent types of rolls. Read more
