We went here last Saturday night,the service was good as we had a great male waiter. The appetizers were really good,but the... steak we ordered was a huge disappointment. It was very chewy.I only ate 2 small pieces and just brought it home. And 1 ofthose I had to spit out because it was too hard to chew. And the vegetables were just shriveled up beans and a piece of redpepper. Not impressed for the amount of money they charge. Won't be returning ever. Read more

The service was very good, the food was OK, but not great considering the prices. Although they are mostly known for their... steaks I decided to try the Keg burger with fries. The fries were a little dried out and not super fresh by the time we got ourmain courses. The burger patty was exceptionally bland and not at all juicy, kind of disappointing for a place that specializesin beef. I would suggest the Keg would be better off using one of the President's Choice Prime Rib frozen patties for theirburgers. These are typically much more juicy and flavourful. Read more

Had a feast.. it was nothing short of amazing! Red sangria and escargot with a steak and two lobster tails... the beef was... cooked perfectly and the tails were tasty!! The atmosphere here is nice.. dimly lit and quiet. Seems like all the kegs I've beento have a similar quality.. obviously in design payed attention to the acoustics of their rooms. Our server was friendly andaccommodating. Overall a beautiful dinner and look forward to the next visit! Read more

I haven’t been to a Keg in years, it seems like most of the ones in WA state have closed over the years. We made a reservation... on the OpenTable app and got in fairly quickly. The wait was an hour without. The service was slower from the start, I assumethey’re short staffed like everyone else. The food was decent. For the money, I feel that it could have been a bit better. Weordered the garlic shrimp appetizer, which was delicious. The steak was a little over cooked for Medium Rare, but was toldthat’s how they all come out. They offered to remake, but I kept it. If you like Med/rare, maybe ask for “rare.” I wishyou the side vegetables were more substantial than a few red and yellow peppers.. maybe some asparagus or broccoli? Overall, anok experience. This was my first time at this location, and it was a big disappointment. The French Onion Soup was too salty - yes it’s... supposed to be salty, but it shouldn’t be hard to swallow. The Mojito was too sour - yes it’s supposed to sour, but, again,it shouldn’t be hard to swallow. Then came the steak. I ordered medium but it was medium-well. Initially I thought, ehh it’skind of acceptable, but it turned out more than half of this 20oz rib steak was well done - this time it’s not that hard toswallow but to chew. There was nothing pink even next to the bone, that’s how cooked this thing was. I had to speak to theserver, and the manager offered they could make a new steak, which is understandable but doesn’t make sense - I already atepart of this huge steak, my appetite was ruined, why should I want another 20oz steak and waste even more food. They did offerus free desserts and a $10 discount. The desserts were great, as was the service, but I would much rather get a decent steak andpay for my desserts than paying $60 for a large beef jerky. Read more

I’m going to give The Keg 5 stars, because they always have outstanding service and consistent quality. And kudos for the... bread and butter. That makes my meal! We’ve tried many items off the menu and the mushrooms Neptune have been a hit with usfor many years. We are not meat eaters, but come for the seafood, which is always good here. So is the Billy Miner pie. Idecided to try something new last time and got the vegetarian meatloaf. I wouldn’t recommend it… Very weak dish for such ahigh quality restaurant.
