Had a horrible experience this morning at White Spot. First, the hostess was incompetent, didn?t even greet us at all. Then we... had a server named Darlene. She was very rude throughout the whole time, gave me weird looks when I requested assistance. Shealso barely checked up since we were in the tables on the right by the window, a hidden spot. Instead of circulating through thesection regularly just in case we wanted to signal her, she chose to stay on the other side where she couldn?t see us. We hadfinished our drinks prior to receiving our food and she never cared to ask if we needed a refill. I had to yell to grab herattention and felt like she didn?t want to have us there. Ruined my appetite. Absolutely disappointed. Food was decent, not goodenough to put up with this type of behaviour from staff. If you as a reader are thinking about coming here, I suggest you don?t.I would rate it 0 stars, even though I?ve been here many times. Read more
When I go out to a restaurant, the ambience is just as important as the food. Although the food was great (pics to follow) I... couldn?t help but feel like I?m in a Chuck E. Cheese. I asked for the lounge because I thought it would be more adult friendly.Instead, I had a room filled with screaming kids. Table beside us the kids were standing on the booths peering over to our table(thankfully a partition separated us). There was no music whatsoever to drown out the loud kids (every table surrounding had akid as if they seat them in the lounge rather than the dining section). We were received as soon as we entered the restaurant and escorted to a table. The server can and took our order - West Coast... Salmon Burger, Seafood Fettuccine and The Spot?s Fish & Chips. The helpings were large and delicious. We enjoyed our short stayat the restaurant. Read more
Ordered take out. Food quality was bad. BC chicken burger bun tasted old, Humboldt Squid was soggy and Garlic Prawn Spaghetti... was too oily and prawns were uncooked. I wouldn't recommend the dishes we got and specifically not worth it for $100. Read more

Last night we came around 6pm and were told that it?s about a 35-40 min wait from the kitchen. We said ok because we didn?t want... to drive around in the wind. So we were seated, I ordered a tea but didn?t get sugar for at least 5 min later. We order andwaited. Then our appetizer came, the coconut prawn was tasty but dark I knew the oil was old and not been changed. Then thefood came. Gross. The fish and chips was so brown. I knew the oil was old and had not been changed. Very disgusting you cantaste the old oil. No matter how busy, change the oil. Poor quality. Old oil can make people very sick. The frying vats were notchanged and because it was busy with large parties does not give the excuse to used old oil. Read more
