An absolute hidden gem. ???? Off the beaten path in Surry, Me lies Perry?s lobster shack. It?s appearance is deceiving because... it?s more than just a shack. Their food is top tier and the freshness scale is off the charts. We were recommended this placefrom a local in Surry. We were not disappointed. There is a good amount of parking available. They are dog friendly which isfantastic. It is also BYOB so neutrally we packed the yeti! ???? Started off with the clams. The clams were the best I?ve everhad. They were fresh and steamed to perfection. Served with hot butter! ???? ???? Then I moved on to the lobster roll! It wastasty and the best I?ve had in Maine. Loaded with fresh lobster meat. ???? For dessert we had the blueberry pie and ice cream.The pie was light and served warm. It has to be the best blueberry pie in Maine! ???? If you are staying in the Bar Harbor areaand somehow stumbled across this place and we?re wondering if it was worth the trip, I?ll tell you that it is! Loved Perry?s Lobster Shack! We had crab claws as an appetizer and they were delicious. My husband and I both had hard shell... lobsters. They were equally delicious. This is a unique place. The lobster and lobster roll were great. Seating is outside on a pier. They have picnic tables with... umbrellas. A waitress will come to your table and take your order and deliver your meal. The staff are friendly and helpful ifyou have never cracked open a lobster before. They offer guidance. With limited seating on the pier, enjoy the BYOB atmosphere paired withsome of your favorite seafood! From 1lb crab claws, crab dip served with scoops, Lobster Rolls, crab rolls or if your reallylooking to fill that seafood void Go for the Perry's Captains platter! A metal serving tray loaded with a 2 lb. soft shelllobster served with corn, coleslaw, warm roll with butter, clams, and mussels. Found it because of a recommendation from my AirBnB host. I?m glad I went all of the food was a good price and delicious. The... place is right on the water so you can watch the waves and the food came out super quick. I recommend this place to anyone inthe area or going to Acadia national park and wants lobster.
