We like to support local, small business, but most likely will not be back. They're only open two days this week - Friday and... Saturday, from 8am-2pm. We decided to come out at 11am on Friday to make sure we could try their brunch. Their brunch menu had 5items on it, one being cinnamon walnut French toast. They were not making it. Nowhere was it posted. They only had 2 or 3 of the5 items on their menu available. Id think when you're only open 2 days a week, you'd have the items you advertise? I ended upjust not having anything. My mom got a chicken bacon avocado wrap that was already made from the fridge and only ate halfbecause it just wasn't that great. It also didn't have avocado, which was in the name? My boyfriend got the "pressed" Cubansandwich. They gave it to us cold. It also had like no meat on it. This was essentially a ham sandwich, not a Cuban. Also, itwas cold and not pressed. The sandwich was $13, a little ridiculous. This place is way over priced for what you get and I wasnot impressed that we made the drive only to find out that all they had was a shrimp cocktail and prime rib breakfast availableout of their brunch selection and it was not posted anywhere. And their lunches were basically cold sandwiches and wraps. Theoutside seating was nice and the pastries looked really good, but wouldn?t be back for food. Read more

I have supported the French Whisk for a long time now . I have recommended the restaurant to many friends and nine out of 10... times it is delicious, on one occasion my friend and I both ordered the roasted chicken salad it came with feta cheese bacontomatoes and some hard-boiled egg that was diced up, Before we mixed our salad with the dressing I tasted the egg first and itwas definitely sour and bad and my friends was the same as well good thing it wasn?t mixed in the salad. I went in and let thegirl at the cash register that took our order know of the bad eggs and all she said was ,? Oh I?m sorry?! , in my book that isthe wrong reply I said to her,? you need to let somebody know in the kitchen that the eggs are bad? I would?ve had appreciatedthat whoever made the food would?ve came out and apologized and offered to give me a discount or have given our meal for free .The lack of a response showed me that it wasn?t important that my salad had bad eggs in it. This is unacceptable and notprofessional hopefully they will take care of people when they have some grievances with something that isn?t quite right. Read more
It's unbelievable that one can find such well-made pastries in a rural community like ours. The French Whisk is truly a diamond... in the rough. The servers are kind and attentive. The pastries are fresh, and the french press coffee is delicious. Whether youare a local or a traveler passing through, this restaurant deserves to be on your radar. Make sure you call before going becausethey are short-staffed. That said, the service has never suffered for me as a patron. Read more
