The staff was courteous, but very busy. Another server or two would be great. There were no bread choices on the buffet.
The hostess seated us but didn't bother to let us know that they were operating on a limited menu. We were waiting for a menu,... lol, looking around.... The waitress finally greeted us and got our drinks and let us know what menu items were available, like6 total. There was an all you can eat buffet. We chose Philly steak. Meat was over cooked, green peppers/sandwich were barelywarm. The onion rings were just ok, lots of crumbling coating. The French fries were good. Was a clean restaurant and bathroomwas stocked. We went to Shoney a couple weeks ago on a Friday night and they had the BEST prime rib , we ever had since moving to West... Virginia....We went back last Friday and WELL ,. It was the AWFUL ???? it tasted OLD and NO flavor at all Very Disappointed !!We told the cashier when we checked out....She seemed as she Wasn't surprised at all ...And she said she would "Make a note "REALLY !!! Make a note.... After coming home and going to bed ...I was up ALl night sick ???? thought I was going to have to goto the hospital... We won't be back .. And we are making a note of that. Read more
As someone who has work here, I would recommend to you wonderful people to eat else where. For your safety and your families. I... have seen food dropped and put back in pans. Managers picking bugs out of the salad bar and not changing it. The waiters andwaitresses do not wash their hands in between interactions with guest, ONLY after cigarette breaks. Most days they all come inintoxicated on some sort of substance. Buying and selling things in the customers bathrooms. They also vape, snort etc behindthe booths. Shoot up in the parking lot and then go cook and serve you drinks and food. They also store their "goodies" in thedry storage for fear of being pulled over and caught with it. The GM is very aware and allows it. I did not fit in here becauseI addressed the wrong doings and would not join in. I was then seen as a "problem" and was harassed and threaten until I left. Ihave NEVER worked at a place this horrible. Sure wouldn't eat here!! It's sad!! This whole place needs prayers and newmanagement. I fear for anyone and everyone that eats here. No vegetarian options besides mashed potatoes with a puddle on butter on top, uncooked corn, and rice sitting in a container of... melted butter. No flavor. No options. There was no menu only a buffet and the people who did eat the meat said it was dry anddisgusting and had no flavor. It?s extremely overpriced for no options. When we told them that some of us in our group werevegetarian and asked if they had any options the waitress seemed very confused and when to see if they could give us a discountbecause we weren?t getting meat (which we did get a discount) but she kept checking our plates as she walked by to see what wehad on our plate. The bathrooms were very gross and unclean. There were flies on all the food. Over all just a terribleexperience considering there?s very limited options and it?s $16 per person. Read more
Really good place to eat. You always get full here. The sweet tea is great! A selection of foods from mac an cheese to rice,... green beans, fried chicken, meatloaf meatballs, salad fixings and desserts ect. I'm told the steak is good, and if you preferyours well done they will do that for you. Read more
Much better than I expected. The food didn't look very good, but tasted good. Not a very big menu selection. I didn't see on the... menu where you could just order the 'salad bar'. I was shocked to see hot food up there, including kielbasa! You actuallywouldn't even be able to make a decent salad with what was there. Overall better than I expected. Read more
Food was overcooked and poorly seasoned. Only posited was salad bar . It was fresh but not very clean.
