Thai food and beautiful wine, yes please. I was eating hotdogs and burgers for a week camping at Keith Charters State Park in... Traverse City. Need some spice. I actually went in to taste wine at Hawkins (what?s up Stranger Things) and I saw the Thai foodsigns. So glad I found this gem. I ordered the Green Curry and it was so damn good. So so good. Fresh ingredients and spicy.Riesling was a good pairing with it. Anyways there?s too many doors at this joint but either way you get three options, winetasting room, Thai deliciousness, or buy your best Auntie some obscure yard ornaments. And your food comes in metal tin to gopie plates. Heat the leftovers up right over your campfire. This was a great treat. Read more
Locals love it for both their pizza & Thai dishes. It's mostly carry-out, though we ate in this time. Service is kind of clunky,... but it works. Our group ordered Thai dishes, including many from the Specials list. My scallop & shrimp dish was good, though afriend with the same dish and I kept on chewing something that was woody in texture. It's a restaurant with doubtless a story of climbing out of poverty to make it in America. Admirable to say the least. Come for... the Thai food, we had the shrimp taco ????"byob" and crash in the parking lot its a harvest host. We spent the afternoon at 2Lads Vinyard tasting. Read more
We decided yo stop in for a wine tasting today and came back for dinner. Everyone in our party of 6 loved their food. I had the... pad thai with chicken. Fresh and delicious, this was an amazing meal. Enjoy a meal on their patio, you won?t regret it. Read more
What a find! We came here to do a wine tasting, and ended up having lunch. The wines were quite pleasant, the bartender/ waiter... was very helpful and friendly. The shock though was the quality of the food. The chef was trained at a culinary institute inThailand, and it shows. I had the cashew chicken and my wife had the pad tai. We also had spring rolls. We loved all the dishes.The portions were huge and we had to take some home. Even the desserts were quite good. We will definitely be back. Read more
Our motor home broke down right in front of HFC and we were welcomed to stay the night in the lot awaiting a tow. We had both... lunch and dinner in the Thai restaurant and the food was delicious. So much so I had the Tom Yum soup each time as it?s amongthe best I?ve had. We also enjoyed the wine tasting while we were there.
