This is Always my true destination in Suttons Bay even if the lake is beautiful and the town is sweet! I had a great burger on... a pretzel roll and it was really delicious and seasoned correctly. The beer is tasty and the ambiance of the north woods withfires and lights can?t be beat. I love the great service I got with special attention to ingredients for a food allergy. I?ll beback soon! WE LOVES HOP LOT!! The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out! Love love loved it. The beer was excellent. The food was amazing.... I had the pulled pork sandwich. Hands down the best I?ve ever had. Great beer and very nice outdoor space. I usually don't care much for the "cabin in the woods" vibe but it fits nicely here. I'm... not sure how well the outdoor space works in the dead of winter but it's great for summer and fall (with the fires roaring). Read more

I was visiting a buddy up in Suttons Bay and we wanted to go grab a casual meal for lunch. By his recommendation this place was... a must ? and indeed it was. The backyard area was bright and airy with lots of different options for seating and scenery. Theydid an awesome job setting it up to feel like you were immersed in the forest, that backs right up to the path connecting toTraverse city. They also have yard games, Bon fires and a fully stocked bar scattered around the seating area so your crew willnever be short of entertainment options (they were even in the works of building a concert stage for the patio). For food, I gota cherry chicken wrap, which came with a side of chips. It had a fresh taste and nice ratio of ingredients ? a grilled chickenbreast, lettuce, and cherry slaw all wrapped tightly in a flour tortilla. We?re new to TC and still working our way around the food scene, but we were very happy to have picked Hop Lot for our date... today! Our food was delicious - my vegan wrap was perfectly seasoned and something I could only dream of recreating at home. Weliked our beer and the bartender was very friendly and personable. Went here for the first time today and we had an awesome time. We reserved an igloo in the igloo village and was very cozy and... enjoyable. We ordered a bunch of different beers and food and it was all fantastic. The pulled pork was excellent! My wife hadthe spicy chicken sandwich and it was equally good. My one recommendation would be to have hot cocoa or hot cider for kids, nota deal breaker but would be nice. Great place in the winter for some family fun. Read more
