Stunning views of Boston and the Massachusetts Bay. Perhaps it was because we entered the cafe at a slower time but, we were one... of the three families dining in the rather large dining area. The entire space felt stuffy and I ended up asking the staff tolet some air in. We came in for desserts and ended up ordering a creme brulee and baked Alaska. My husband loved the bakedAlaska and I enjoyed the creme brulee. 7/10. Read more

The restaurant has a great view and nice decor. However, we came in at 5pm just to grab some light food and drinks. After we... were seated, we were told that if we just want to have light food instead of dinner we can’t sit where we are seating rightnow despite the entire restaurant is pretty empty. Understood but we are pretty offended. Really have never been to a restaurantso not welcoming. Read more

The place looks tough on the outside. Entry and main dining room are nice. We sat in a room in the back which is in serious need... of updating. Food is just so so. My wife and I split a salad and both had scrod which only came with a baked potato for $34, noother side, and the fish portion was half the size of what I would expect. We both had blueberry pie which sounded great butdoesn't have any crust except around the rim of the dish. Paid about $150 for wife and myself which included on drink each.Won't be back. Read more

A very nice restaurant to eat and relax at a fantastic location with great views of Boston, Lynn Beach, Egg Rock as well as... Swampscott harbor. The food is good.. We had Boston Scrod and baked cod. The food while tasty was bland. The clam chowder wasexcellent, the salad very fresh and tasty, the pop overs were perfect, hot and plenty of butter to add to the enjoyment. Thewaitstaff that served us was a very personable young man. He was knowledgeable and friendly making us feel quite welcome.Anthony's is worth a visit... It is a treasure from the past existing in a different world but always seeking quality food in afriendly, beautiful setting. You will not be disappointed... Go and enjoy the experience of fine food, great service and abeautiful setting! Read more

I ordered the salmon and she had the stuffed lobster. Both also very delicious. We even had dessert??????????? Baked Alaska and Creme Brulee, also very good. Read more
