My first time eating here and I was very impressed. My husband and I shared a meat lovers pizza, wings, French fries and dessert... and still had leftovers to take home. The food was delicious and the guys that worked there were so professional and welcoming.They took the time to explain the different types of pizzas and everything. The pizza gets a 4 sometimes even a 5, unfortunately, attitude of employees, gets a 1. We went in twice this past week, because... the pizza was really good the first time. I?m a northerner, I like good pizza! First time my margarita pie, was excellent.Except for the large whole cloves of garlic, sliced or crushed would be a preference. The sauce is excellent, light and sweet,the crust is fairly thin and very tasty. My second visit, the guy making the pie was so surly, I was Uncomfortable asking him tomake any changes. I asked for a little more cheese, he looked at me and threw a handful of shredded mozzarella on the pie. Hehad put four small slices of cheese and then four slices of tomato. That is not a margarita pie. Unfortunately, the attitudesof all the employees is horrendous. They are not rude, but they certainly are not pleasant. Pizza Forno offers a make your ownpie, and they give you a nasty face when you order it, like it?s too much effort. There were no descriptions on the glass bythe topping options, to name what they are. So you have to ask the miserable employee in front of you what every item is. I?mnot aware if the owner is miserable, and his attitude is wearing on all of his employees, Or if there is no management and theydon?t care. It truly is a shame, because customer service is half your business. They will continue having business because thepizza is good and it?s worth the bad attitude. Read more
You eat here once, then all of a sudden you?re getting a pizza every weekend. The ingredients, assembly, & baking is too good... and addictive. Very fresh flavors, especially the pesto. All workers here need a raise though. Read more
Disappointing- It wasn?t as good as I thought it would be, their wings were soggy and the taste was not that great, the pizza... sauce had an odd taste too, so it wasn?t enjoyable. I won?t be coming back. Read more
Stopped in here for the first time today and my expectations were blown. Totally understood that it was oven fired pizza, but... didn't know it was a create your own personal pizza (think Chipotle). This was amazing. 3 sauce choices, tons of meat and cheesechoices, and plenty of vegetables at one price. They had not only the usual fountain sodas, but also 6 beers on tap and aselection of other drinks. The decor is very nice and welcoming and a great place to sit down and eat in. The best part wasthe service. Everyone was kind and quick and I was absolutely surprised at how fast the pizza was fired and brought out tous. My pizza and the peanut butter cake was over the top amazing and this will be my new go to for fast service and great foodin the area. Having lived in the Western United States, I am a long time fan of brick oven pizza. It's been tough to find it in Eastern North... Carolina until the last couple of years. Pizza Forno has been popular for a couple of reasons. The staff is friendly, efficient,and with 30 different toppings you can individually select, there's something for everyone. For just under $11, you can get anyof their pizzas. They are meant to be individual, but are about 12", so they can be shared if you don't have a big appetite. Westopped in around 5:30 on Friday night and it was jammin. Orders were being made as fast as the 5 employees could crank themout. Many people were ordering 4-6 pizzas plus other items on the menu. We waited maybe 10 or 15 minutes. As the rush died down,it was about half that. One thing about brick oven is that they cook much faster than a regular pizza oven. They have bottledsoda, juice and beer, as well as a drink dispenser and several beers on tap. We were very pleased with our experience here. Read more
