My wife and I like visiting Swedesboro because of all the great wineries in the area but on this trip we finally got a chance to... stop in at Swedesboro Brewing and so happy we did! Great selection of craft beers on tap, friendly attentive service and a niceindoor table area plus outside seating in decent weather. You can bring in your own food (Ray's Pizza right next door is a goodchoice) plus several TV's showing the current sports action (Go Phillies!). Looking forward to returning on future trips. I?m glad we have this in our town now, but I was not a huge fan of the three beers I tried. I feel like the 32 oz cans were a... little pricey as well. I?ll continue to go back and try seasonal brews, and I would even pop in for a pint of something whilewaiting for my pizza next door. I?m sure folks who are fans of hoppy beer will have a different opinion but even the wit had ALOT of hops. Just not my thing. I wish them good luck and I hope they do well, its a nice place! UPDATE! Nice local brewery so far only have tried the racoon ipa. a very modern and tasty brew from these guys, definitely shows some... evolution in the brewing, and nice addition to their lineup, especially on the hop side. very pale in color, whitewashed strawyellow in the glass with a thick and creamy white head. it smells and tastes like green gape, honeydew melon, and tropicaloverall. I really a nice hop profile on this, i wish i knew what they used in here. its got a clean ferment to it, a very mildbitterness, massive dry hop aromatics, and nothing to not love. seems like some wheat in the mash, fluffy body, goodcounterpoint to the hops very nice. True to taste beers. The milk stout and pilsner are on point. The racoon IPA is also a must. The seasonal beers are wonderful... specially their trash panda series. This is a great brewery with wonderful ownership. Family friendly with kids highchairs andgreat restaurants in the area to order from. They offer Free sodas for the kids when you order and they have the friendlieststaff. Truly a gem in a nice small town. Give it a try and you won't regret it. Read more
