I?m usually not one to complain, however everytime I give this place another try, I leave more disappointed. My pretzels were so... dry I could barely swallow them. It?s a shame because the atmosphere is great, but the food is just simply not up to par. Read more

I've only been here a few times but the food is good. Service is excellent. If you sit at the bar say hi for me to Dominic aka... Domino James Bond girl check your Walter PPK at the door because she's packing and all the right places along with the rest ofthe servers . Read more

I do not know if Michelle our server was having a bad night or what. She neglected us as a tabletop of 6. One plate of food... didn?t make it out and we cancelled it. On the other hand. All other employees and management were very kind and helpful. Thefood is very very good. This is a place I really enjoy eating. Any of the village pubs. I?ve been to several. I recommendedgoing. Service was bad, food was average for bar food. We were seated 15 minutes before someone came over, however the server walked... all around us asking other tables if they needed anything. I was missing part of my order and we were never asked if we neededrefills on drinks. If she had come over to the table after our food arrived to check on things, i would have addressed themissing items then and resolved it. After we finished eating, i had to flag the server down for a refill but by then we werefrustrated and just looking to go. Coming in to eat there was more a chore than a pleasurable evening. The $60+ bill wasdisappointing for the food we ordered and service. Read more

Their prices have absolutely skyrocketed over the past couple of months and portions have gotten smaller. They don't even... include fries with their sandwiches anymore. You have to pay extra for that. Service was great however. We like the atmosphere, but can get more for our dollar elsewhere. Read more

The food was really good, the service on the other hand was not to pleasant. I had asked my server (michelle) for a white peach... sangria which came in a green color..not cool my sever barely interacted with us and when we asked for extra napkins it camewith hair on it. We had to ask another server to locate her in order for us to get our check . Read more

Super mediocre place for a super expensive price. Got takeout, 3 appetizers and paid $40 after tip. Still had to go home and... make more food, portions are ridiculously small. Paid $9 for 5 frozen jalapeño poppers and $8 for 5 pieces of cauliflower, thatmarkup is insane. Everything is smaller then my finger. Had to go home and make more sauce for the wings since they were so dry.Food tastes okay but not worth the price. Read more

'nother update: way awesome. The Guinness meatloaf is better than I imagined it could be. Lively on Tuesday nights. Love the... service. ------ Update: bumped my review up to 4 stars after another visit. Had some tasty crab cake sliders, the salmon bbqentree, and cheesecake for dessert. All well prepared. The service was again very good, and I enjoyed a little bit of livemusic on the Thursday night. ------- Based on just one dining experience I'd give The Village Pub an "OK" primarily based onthe food prep. The service was solid, atmosphere lively, drink selections more than adequate. The menu has some great standardsand enticing creative options, and I would bet when the kitchen's A-team is working then it pays off. I had the chicken pot pieand the crust was out of this world fantastic. Ingredients/recipe for the filling was just what I like but the veggies were notcooked enough. Correcting that, plus some actual flavoring, would probably get a four or five stars from me. I'll be back againand anticipate a much better eating experience. Read more
