Enjoyable dinner but do not expect a traditional Japanese restaurant. There is loud country and pop music and the chefs will... frequently break into boy band songs during food preparation. This was the best hibachi experience I have had. Andre is an amazing chef! The waitresses make sure you are good at all times. ... The food was so flavorful. The entertainment was so fun. There was a DJ and dance floor that made sure the music was justright for his audience. It is a bit pricey but worth every cent. Read more
We have been living in the Poconos for 3 years now. We finally decided to check out our surroundings and descended upon this... lovely place. The architecture is beyond description. Perfect lighting, clean dining and the customer service was superb. Theysmiled and welcomed us with open arms. Talk about the food. It was delicious . They were aware of our allergic recommendationand paid clear attention to details. Our host, Hayden was awesome. She took time to explain what was expected in regards totime the cooking will take place and many more. Benny, the cook was a character. He was funny and the life of our lunch. Food is good - the sushi and drinks were great - nice atmosphere, good music - but pricy - and a very bad customer service. The... place is packed and very busy and not enough staff to attend so many customers. I basically went and grabbed my son high chairand noone noticed. I also needed a spoon and was asking every waiter until someone finally grabbed one for me. The waiter we hadnever came back to check on us but I saw him from far running from tables to tables. After finishing eating, he still never cameback to our table so I had to ask a manager for the check; I assumed he was a manager cause he was wearing a black suit. He wenta grabbed the waiter who was attending us, he brought the bill but never came back to take the payment, so I had to look forthat same manger again and that was another 20 minutes wait. It?s like I was begging them to pay cause nobody was around tocollect the money. For 3 people (2 adults and 1 child) the bill was about $215. Too pricy for such a bad service. So if you?rethere for the bar and good music it?s a great ambiance but if you?re looking for a place to have a nice dinner with your family,you will be disappointed. Read more
6 stars is needed to rate this restaurant. If you had hibachi before, you never had it from desaki. It?s fun, friendly, and... delicious. Your meal will have stuffed with some of the best food you ever had. I recommend coming here without a budget becausethe price can be extreme, but worth it for all the fun you have! Read more

The food was okay, the entertainment was nice, but the prices compared to the food you get is terrible. I got the emperor?s meal... where you get 3 proteins a little lo mein, and a little rice for $70 +tax ; and my mom got the combination sea scallops (whichshe got 3) and chicken which she got a spoon full for $50. We ordered two apps the soft shell crab and calamari which was prettygreat $20 + $15 and 2 drinks. The soup they give is amazing! Total I spent $240 + tip. In my opinion it was not worth it foodquality & quantity wise & the drinks could of been better. Unfortunately, the experience was mediocre, and a little rushed. Wewere there 25-30mins top. Read more
Highly recommend. Food was amazing! They cooked my filet and my husbands steak perfectly. They give you edamame, soup, fried... rice, lomein and vegetables all with your meal. They made sure we didn?t want specific stuff in our food. They were super niceabout it and our server/cook was awesome. They don?t typically give us all of that for Hibachis in our area. Note: it is not acheap meal at all. They also add a 20% tip and recently added an additional 5% tip on top of that for recent increases. Iwouldn?t pass this place up if you can afford it! The place was different, the music was loud and they had a DJ but it was ahuge place to fit a lot of people. We would definitely go back when in the area! Read more
