I come here probably twice a week. Definitely a cool, chill spot. Not super fancy and one of the few places left to get a good... dog. They'll also basically make anything here, its like a NY deli with great beer selection. Beyond the drafts there is anentire cooler of beers in the back if nothing from a handle interests you, and their dog of the month is usually the bomb. I'ddefinitely recommend the trip out, the staff is super cool, and this is definitely the spot where i'm a "regular" Also muchless politically 'strict' than other bars in the area. *cough* murphys *cough* so come here instead atleast until 9! Solid 3.5 out of 5. The Pros outweigh the Cons, which is a great beer selection, good hot dogs, and great service. The Cons ?... limited seating as it's a small venue and wait times can be long. Also the price of the hotdogs is a little steep consideringthat they are hotdogs, but they are delicious and they have a variety. Beer selection is very diverse and they have a beer cave.Overall, a Regent Square staple with a Yinzer-light atmosphere. Read more
What a fabulously friendly and kid friendly place! We came with a large party on a weekend, mostly kids under age 5 and wow.... They went above and beyond and were kind and accommodating. I don?t expect that but it made a huge difference and gave our kidssuch a fun summer memory. Amazing food and beer. I am so happy we went! A most excellent beer selection, chicken wings, hotdogs, fries. My friend eats here at least once a week, this was my first... visit and first real sit-down in Pittsburgh.
