I got married this past weekend and I'm glad we choose the country store& catering. I am beyond pleased with the whole process... of contracting them. The food was delicious and tasty. Everyone at our wedding kept complimenting us on how good the food was.The chicken was falling off the bone and the pork chop was so flavorable. I even seen my guests asking and getting businesscards from Tom. The side dishes were also a hit. Thank you Tom and your wife for everything and this will not be our last time contracting you guys. This butcher is fantastic! Best Filets ever!!! Excellent quality meats. They?re chicken is free range. They make a variety of... salads that are delicious. BEST Jalapeño CORNBREAD I have ever eaten. Great variety of brats for the grill. Don?t have time tocook, they?ll do it for you, just bring utensils! Family owned and operated and they?re the nicest people in town! Had a pork chop sandwich and cup of chili. Sandwich was good but not overly tender. Chili was not very thick but was tasty. Will... go back to try the ribs. Was a bit put off by the total lack of masks or any precautions to protect the food. Not unsanitary butin the middle of a pandemic would expect (hope for) some precautions. A hidden gem. Have driven by here many times, stopped for the first time today. Got the sampler for 22 bucks. It's a lot of... food. The pork chop was excellent, ribs are good. Sides and salads are legit. A couple picnic tables outside for dining. Pricesare reasonable and staff are courteous and kind. Highly recommend Read more
Listen, when my husband and I walked in we were greeted kindly by everyone there including the butcher that came around the... counter to show us around. The entire experience was AMAZING! I seriously appreciate the level of kindness from the women thatprepare the salads, desserts, and bread. They seem so happy to see us! We WILL be back, I just wish we discovered the gemsooner. I ordered the rib tips and OMG it was FANTASTIC although the second order of tips were a little too salty. My husbandordered a bacon cheeseburger and it tasted fresh from the grill! I swear it?s thee best bbq I?ve had in a very long time (withthe exception of the second order of tips). I?ve had bbq from other restaurants in Dekalb (yuck)! Oh my God what a great place! Makes wanna move closer. I got a pork chop sandwich and steakhouse potato salad and both were... Fantastic! The flavors were delicious!
