I have been to many Texas Roadhouses and I love their food. But today was my first time at this one in Dekalb. I will start by... saying, our waitress Shadia was awesome! There was a young lady seating people and she had the nastiest look on her face! What away to be greeted. We get there, the rolls are sitting on top of what appeared to be the refrigerated box that the steaks werein. When we received them, they were barely warm and they went to the table with us. We got our food and my granddaughterordered green beans and they were cold. My corn was not hot just a lot of water. Our waitress offered to make changes but wejust asked for 2 go boxes. She was very professional, very apologetic and just great. I'm hoping I can try it again and therolls are as warm and soft as I've known them to be. Read more
Salad was very good. Baked potato was hardly warm, butter wouldn't even melt & second one wasn't better. Ribs greasy and not... their usual quality. Waitress gave us the check while we were still eating and never asked if we'd like more rolls (there werefour of us). Restaurant in Dekalb was not even crowded. Read more

Had the chance to get out this evening and enjoy a fantastic dinner at Texas Roadhouse in Sycamore IL. Wait for two was a... little long, 20 minutes, but we didn't call ahead and it was prime time on Friday night at 6:30pm Started off our meal withtheir classic honey butter over hot buns......mmmmm good, but you have to watch out as they're so good you may over indulgebefore your main course. Ordered Margaritas because.....well why not! Bar was busy so they took a while to get to us butafter the first sip the wait was well worth it. Then on to the main course .... we ordered 8 oz filets, cooked medium rare,with sides of loaded baked potatoes and applesauce......the steaks and baked potatoes were delivered piping hot to our tablealong with tasty applesauce. Medium rare requested and medium rare was what were delivered, always a plus. Our server was topnotch, always checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. OMGOSH, this was our first time at Texas Roadhouse and our server Wyatt was beyond wonderful. I'm on a HIGH PROTEIN diet only,... after looking at the menu I Chose the Herb Crusted Chicken breast which comes with two sides. (I can only have thechicken.) Wyatt asked what two sides would I like? I said none, he then asked tomato? Nope, Potatoe? Nope, Applesauce? Is itsugar free? He went and checked and it wasn't so Nope. I then told him, I can only have High Protein. My fiance ordered thehalf slab ribs and My mom ordered the Texas House Salad which has chopped boiled eggs in it, I asked if I could get two hardboiled eggs as my sides. Wyatt went way out of his way and exceeded his duties to serve me a meal, that he scrambled two eggsfor me, not only did he go out of his way, he also brought it out to me when everyone else at our table was enjoying theirAppetizers. 24 oz Fort Worth ribeye smothered in onions and mushrooms. Amazing!!! Even the pooch got a treat with his dinner.
