Absolutely delish! I had the chicken club and it was amazing. Made on homemade bread, it was crunchy and not soggy, and the... tomato jam was excellent. Sat outside on the patio to eat. Staff are super friendly! If you haven't visited the Cafe you aretruly missing out. Read more

This is a great little cafe. I would say it?s not a breakfast restaurant though, not a large menu for breakfast - but the... sandwich was delicious! My wife loved the pickled red onion in hers. The coffee was high quality! I got a flat white. Thetables inside are massive, and they are too high to comfortably bring a laptop and work for a few hours. Great new cafe spot inSydney to compliment a rotation with Dr Luke?s. Read more

the food and coffee is excellent, friendly staff and most important that the place supports the meals and wheels program.

Wonderful bright space and great menu including a range of drinks (including cider on tap), and a nice selection of baked goods... and other food (pizza by the slice!). The staff are very friendly and the prices are fair. Recommended. Read more

The service is always above average and coffee is always quite well made; the best in Sydney, I'd say. However, the food, in my... experiences, has been sloppy and messy with incomplete ingredient descriptions provided on the menu. As a result, I now stick toordering beverages and the occasional baked good and grab lunch elsewhere. Read more

Situated in a former convent, now home to art studios, galleries and facilities of Nova Scotia Community College. (Note... bilingual signs, Mikmaq/English.) Definitely an out-of-towners' best bet for coffee drinks, soups and salads. Read more

This licensed café is an excellent addition to Sydney and the historic North End. The decor and views from the outside deck are... top notch. Come relax in this great public space and enjoy! Best of all, all proceeds go to support meals on wheels in CapeBreton. The staff are very friendly and create delicious and affordable sandwiches (around $8 including a small side of chips, coleslaw, pickles). A wider selection of cold non alcoholic beverages would be nice as well as a few dessert options (cake, muffins etc) but perhaps these were sold out by the time we arrived (around 5pm). It was a little tricky to find our way to thecafé, and some wayfinding upgrades from the front parking lot on George St would be helpful. All in all excellent spot, I willbe back soon! Read more
