Not worth the wait. Was very excited to get sushi for the first time after my second baby was born, but was completely... disappointed after waiting an hour for our carry out order. They do hot have enough people working to keep up with demand andeven had to create a waiting area for people waiting on orders, which was full the entire time I was waitIng there. Would always pass this spot and tell myself to check it out. I did. Was not disappointed, to say the least. It is not a large... eat-in restaurant, and the coziness just adds to the order in which how everything is done without the rush is a plus to me. Myorder consisted of a tuna roll & tempura shrimp and enjoyed the freshness from beginning to end. Will return in the future. Read more
The best sushi in town. Always fresh. Never had a meal I didn?t like. Can get busy but that?s how you know it?s good.
When pulling up i was a little bit skeptical since the outside doesn?t look too promising. I was very suprised the interior is... very nice and has a nice atmosphere. Quality sushi for the best price. The fish are always fresh, the service is quick, and the sushi are exquisite. We have been... coming here for the past few years since moving to Sykesville and we always have J&Y every weekend. The ambience inside therestaurant is cozy and nice too. Very kid friendly. Excellent place for sushi! Quality of sushi is excellent and so is the price. I believe no roll was over $12 and everything was... done with care. The rolls were very fresh and had the perfect amount of rice. Service was incredible! The waitress couldn'thave been nicer! Super attentive but not annoyingly so. Food was served quickly and the waitress even brought out an extra roll(and dessert) for us on the house. For the quality & service alone, this is the best place to go in MD. The affordable pricingis just the icing on the cake. A definite recommend. Read more
One of the best sushi restaurants in the DMV!!! I really enjoy their chef?s special roll on the menu. They really know how to... balance their sauces with freshness for their sushi. I was super excited to taste their chef?s special roll on the menu and letme tell you it?s amazing. The sushi came out beautifully and were very fresh made. Every roll on their menu is worth it !!! Thecreation on each roll was created beautifully. The food here is very delicious!!! They have a great selection. The quality oftheir sushi is phenomenal. The cheese cake on the dessert menu is great also. The staffs here are very very very friendly andvery helpful. They kept this place very clean and very neat. Went to check this place out after seeing some of the recent reviews. Had high hope BUT left disappointed. We went around 5pm on... a Monday, they were not busy at all. Had 3 tables to serve including us. Foods: so-so, nothing stood out and lack of variety.Both sushi rolls we ordered tasted and looked exactly the same. Sashimi sliced into thick chunks, which is a no no. Wasabi wasnot fresh. Service: so rude. There were 2 women served us, the older women had a stinky face on the whole time ???? no smile atall, talked super rude, and told us this is not a Chinese restaurant so they don?t have eggplants ????????????where did thatcome from??? Atmosphere: as regularly as you can expect, nothing special , not decorative at all. As an international travelerand food blogger, this is one of the worst Japanese restaurants experiences I?ve had in years, especially in DMV region & makeme wonder how is this restaurant still surviving ????
