I would like to thank Jennifer Goff of the Sylacauga Captain D's for her hard work. Today, and as noted on several other... occasions, she was the only one at the front, working the drive through and the inside register. She was doing the job of 3people, and handling it all with a smile; although, you could tell she was running herself so hard. She was also delivering foodto those awaiting their order outside. The worse fish sandwich I have ever had. The fish was mostly breading and overcooked to the point you wouldn?t even know it was... fish. The Sandwich was supposed to come with tartar sauce and lettuce but what you get is two pieces of over breaded over cookedfish on a bun with cups of the sauce which you have to put on your sandwich yourself. Horrible and certainly not worth themoney. I will never go back and certainly do not recommend this Captain D?s to anyone. Read more
They left part of my food out I ordered a fish and shrimp( #8) and they left my shrimp but other than that it was good
A few weeks ago my husband went to get us two fish platters and clam strips He said the cashier plainly said the warehouse had... not sent them any. Today ? now they are no longer selling them and no longer on the online menu or available ( clamstrips). The service at this place has always been hit or miss Sometimes it?s decent sometimes it?s short staffed and or justangry type of employees ?yelling and or asking What do you want??- yes we have experienced that too! However the options outin this area for fish every now and then are limited so we decided just to start picking up our food. I simply don?tunderstand how they are still operating with the staff the out of things and the overall your annoying me for coming hereattitude! Today the fish was undercooked the fries in the box ( I counted them I got 8 yes 8 fries that was one of my sides ? and no clams because no longer are they selling them ! This is our last attempt at eating here I tossed my food out when Isaw the fish was chunky brown and slimy to the touch when I bit into it ? no need in driving back and attempting at a recook? I sure wish someone would take notice and do something about this place Thank you Read more
Cashier was wearing earbuds and kept saying "huh?" after everything I said. The restaurant was abysmally filthy. No tables... wiped, sauce packets and used napkins everywhere. The food was cold and somehow burned at the same time. The cups they wereusing were from a completely different restaurant! This is bonkers. How a generally decent chain can have such a poor example ofa store. Two stars instead of one because I asked for a lot of malt vinegar and got it. This place deserves to be shut down. Read more
The life of me I can't understand how they keep enough fish to supply all the people that eat there my hats off to the staff for... keeping up and maintaining a positive attitude. The girl at the front counter who I see there most of the time in the afternoonsand evenings has such a positive attitude and although the crowd may be overwhelming she never appears to be overwhelmed. My food was hot. Had to take it home. The fries have to be eaten hot. Not good when they get cold. Fish and hush puppies, slaw... was good. I will go again. I also true the fried green tomatoes. I give them a thumbs up. Read more
