I had a bad experience today. I was embarrassed and was highly offended by the woman at the front. My mother and I went to... have lunch. We both got a plate from the buffet and did not like the food. We tried our best to try and stomach it. I new mymother was just disgusted and I did not want to make eat it. So we went to the front to pay for the little chicken I ate andfor the drinks. I told the lady quietly and politely we didn't like the food. She got very loud and told us we still had topay for the food we didn't eat. She said it was policy. I ask her to show me the policy she did not. I asked to talk to asupervisor or a manager. She said no manager no supervisor. I asked to talk to someone. She gave me a number that was not themanager or owner. She was yelling to everyone leaving and coming in "THEY DONT PAY FOR THIER FOOD"!!! It was so embarrassingand she would not let my mother step in the foyer to sit down. She demanded she stay! I told her I just want to pay for onlywhat I ate and my drinks. She said she would call the police. I told her I would.. and I did. I got fried wontons and a chicken and broccoli with steamed rice lunch special for takeout. I spoke with what I assume were the... owners, who were very nice and had a good conversation with them. The fried wontons were nice and light, as was the chicken andbroccoli. The items are a little pricey than what I am used to, but as far as I?m aware, this is the only Chinese place inSylva. For what it is, I understand the priciness. My boyfriend and I want to come back to try their buffet. Read more
We were here about 11:30 am, they were about 70% full, so the food SHOULD have been fresh and hot. It wasn't either. My wife... told them we weren't happy and we were gonna leave. They got very loud and rude to her, speaking in Chinese. They told her NO,but then they brought out fresh hot food, which was good. I think they were trying to use up the previous nights left overs. Awful food. The owners are beyond rude. The food looked awful and was cold. 2 of us didn't make a plate. One person in our party... did and when he got back to the table realized it was cold. We decided to just pay for drinks and leave since no food had beeneaten and the whole restaurant was gross. The owners were extremely rude and said all three of us needed to pay, even though twopeople never even made a plate. We ended up paying for the cold food that was not eaten anyway and the owners followed us to theparking lot yelling. The female owner even tried to take pictures of our cars and license plates, after we paid! We explainednicely at first we were not satisfied with our visit and we were leaving. I?ve traveled all over the USA and this Chinese restaurant has the best tasting food I?ve had so far. I love the flavor and... different varieties here. Would definitely recommend it and I?ll come again one day. Not a bad lunch price and the staff werevery welcoming. Read more
This is a small but nice buffet. There was Chinese favorites like sesame chicken, chicken and broccoli. Nice vegetable... selection. They were very polite and thanked us. Read more
I have not had food this bad in a long time. I am not a picky person, but this food made me instantly feel sick. Everything was... old, overcooked, and quite frankly, just tasted gross. We came here on a whim & I definitely regret it. Don?t waste your time. Read more
